One of my friends older brothers would hold the inner tube and we’d launch through a concrete culvert beside his house. It was wider and shorter than this. Maybe twenty or thirty yards and the culvert opened up into what was pretty much a small creek that ran the length of a long block. Simpler times
That is sooo dangerous 😳 in the army they made us crawl through a shorter one of those with running water during training. I'm not a claustrophobic person, but I felt like I was gonna drown trapped in that damn tube with all my battle buddies. Very unpleasant, would not recommend 🙄 😒 😑
I've seen a few people on YouTube that have done something like this. But they use a smaller pipe that is full of water to take advantage of the pressure.

In my neighborhood a woman trying to cross the road during a rainstorm lost her footing and went into one of these. She did not survive and recovering her remains was not a simple task. Nightmare fuel for the years following.
