At this point our protests are ineffective. We need to shut down highways, railways, warehouses, gated communities, and stop fucking ordering Amazon. Stop ordering grub hub, McDonald's, and shit from Walmart and target.

I’m in the top right corner of the first one on Ocean Beach.

Wonder why the stain wasn’t at any fifa games but showed up to baseketball

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Anyone remember what a big deal the bicentennial was ? Seems like we celebrated the whole summer. So much national pride and now we get to 250 it’s just a big whatever.
No need to wonder why 😿

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wasn't alive for that one. But the reason this one is so lukewarm is the people who did remember it failed in their civic duty to protect and guide this nation. The people who don't remember it fell for the lies of the elite, and blamed their problems on their neighbors instead of the actual parasites responsible, or fell into apathy and decided not to intervene at all, convinced it'd all work out fine in the end. And then there are people like me who are hoarse from shouting to no avail.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

To this date I can still only convince people to give up a few afternoons or a few dollars to help families torn apart by this horror, there are only 5 other people in my small group willing to own and carry guns, and none of us has any significant military or tactical training that could make a significant difference in what we're capable of, as-is we're an annoyance to ICE and we aren't strong enough to be much more than that.

I can't leave a better way to celebrate the 250th anniversary of this country

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Wrong location. Should have swarmed the White House, to disturb entry to participants and guests at least.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Awesome. Love it. But also, I can't watch this and not think "There's a parking lot where greenspace and a train station should be!".

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

This is at Ocean Beach. The N Judah railcar's westernmost stop is just a few blocks away. And this is quite close to a rather massive greenspace called Golden Gate Park.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Ok! That's good. i just saw the parking lot the size of a small country and was a touch horrified....

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We need to start burning shit down. This is just fucking stupid that there arent riots. Nothing is ever going to change by standing around, waving a sign for 3 hours on a saturday. What's happening here right now is happening because there is no consequences for anything their doing. My countrymen are apathetic dipshits. Its going to get worse and we are all just sitting here not doing shit. Its just so fucking stupid.

Work is getting lighter.

Or more like all media is owned by the handful of people who pay the fascist parties.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh look, a protest on a sunday, when it doesn't matter.

2 months ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 9

It's a glorified walk in the park.

People in Hong Kong had more balls.

2 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 5

Oh look, a snarky reply on imgur where an entitled person knows better. But offers no solution. You have to start somewhere dufus. I've been to marches. I've been to "Get out the vote" meetings. Have you been out of your basement?

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Please explain what you're doing that is more helpful, besides bitching online and victim blaming

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Nothing is nothing. If you think screaming at the sky changed anything then you're mentally challenged.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Great sheduled yelling with permit appications and fun costumes, everyone. It’s really making them not care or take us seriously at all.

2 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 6

Please explain what you're doing that is more helpful? Besides bitching online and victim blaming

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Oh look, it's you again. Maybe you should go scream at the sky more instead of bitching online right?

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I went to the protests, but I am also identifying a problem with them. I’m not content with patting myself in the back because I was seen in a parade. I am insisting that it is meaningless if it doesn’t build. I have this conversation frequently on and off line. Without a disruption to commerce, these protests are meaningless. How is this victim blaming also?

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What is the second line saying? Yes something 50?

2 months ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

Yes on 50, the ballot measure to redistrict California to counter republican gerrymandering.

2 months ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

So... yet another big protest with lots of people out in the nice sun with their pretty signs they spent so long making and creating catchy slogans for, all so they can brag about the numbers and say they are doing something.
A protest that will last a day, disrupt nothing and, just like all the others, have no effect.

Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?

And to those who think this means it *must* be done through blood and violent uprising and constantly parrot that, while also

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

Doing a sweet load of fuck all, you are also a complete and utter ignorant moron.

I swear if I see one more smarmy, 'yass revolutionary queen' post like "hur hur, its not illegal to kill billionaires you know" or a fucking guillotine meme with no thought as to what happened at the tail end of the bloody revolution, then I'm going to lose my fucking mind.

I've never seen a country so up its own arse about freedom yet so fucking useless at achieving it.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

Please explain what you're doing that is more helpful? Besides bitching online and victim blaming

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Hey there. Is this you bitching online again at others bitching online? Did you go outside and scream at the sky more? Did it change anything?

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Please explain to me where I said that I was doing anything helpful, or pretended that I was?

See, people always immediately come to this, because pointing out how useless it is hurts them personally and they need to lash out and deflect. But you always miss the core issue with what I say.

It is not that you are doing nothing. It is that you are repeatedly doing bullshit that achieves nothing, but pat yourself on the back for it.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Doing nothing is not my issue. My issue is doing a whole load of bullshit, just so you can feel like you're not doing nothing, then getting upset when it doesn't work and just doing it all over again.
It's the flaunting of how much you are doing, how you're sticking it to the man and so forth, while nothing is changing.

If you said "yeah I'm doing nothing." I wouldn't give a shit. But you're not saying that, are you?

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And to answer your question, I'm being in another country having to deal with the results of your useless bullshit (thanks for that by the way) and trying to educate americans with their head up their arse about being useful instead, so the world doesn't have to suffer because you want to make pretty signs instead of doing something of value.

This is not victim blaming. Victim blaming is when you blame the actions someone took for the bad outcome that was out of their control.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But once again, its a nice common deflection and an easy shut down phrase to spit out, to make yourself seem like an innocent victim who couldn't do anything.

This is just calling you out for your bullshit, and that's why you take such personal offense to it.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ironic, considering a constitutional monarchy likely would have removed Trump once serious criminal allegations came to surface.

After nearly half a century on this planet, I have no choice but to regard America as a fucking joke.

2 months ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 9

because a constitutional monarchy is controlled by the upper classes and they only have to appease each other and keep the people docile enough. Demagogues like Napoleon and Trump engage the people against more established power brokers.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

I got 3/4 of a ton, and I agree with you.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You're not alone mate.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 14

Only four decades, but I agree. When Obama was elected, I thought we were out of the woods and things would keep getting better. Foolish of me.

2 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I was so relieved once Bush was out. And then once Trump was out.

It’s a smaller scale version of the “hard times make strong men” cycle. We had it so good that far fewer saw the need to vote.

Just remember this: at every level, from local to federal, there will always be some boomer standing in the way of progress.

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I wouldn't call these people a joke. And their numbers are growing.

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

This is a perfect example of a joke.

Making a pointless message ("No kiNgS11! Lol"), indicating their deep displeasure? Walking around like a bunch of limp dicks?

Yep, that'll show 'em, lads! Great job!

Fucking hilarious.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

If your opposition, regardless of size, does nothing but stand and stare at you, then it is no threat.

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

This. Untill they forcefully drag this admin out of there, nothing will change. 50 will do nothing. You're beyond the point where elections have a meaning

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

BUT THEIR NUMBERS ARE GROWING

Imagine if each person protesting had one (1) molotov cocktail.

We wouldn't stop dancing here in the streets for fucking weeks.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

A caged tiger can imagine eating you all day long, but that won't fill its belly.

Good job. You blew off some steam.
That'll teach him and those who keep in him power not to ignore the will of the people and just do what ever the fuck they want.
If you want things to change you're going to have to do more than just periodic single days of angry shouting. No positive change against oppression came from people taking a convenient day off work to wave a sign and shout a slogan.

Ok. Thank you for the cogent argument.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I'm not here to explain the obvious to stupid people. Keep being triggered, you make me laugh. You already proved you don't care to be educated.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Riiiiiight... And you've already proven that you're incapable of forming a cogent argument. Have a nice day.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yet I did from the beginning which you have continously ignored. People asked why it was done on Sunday, it was done because that's the day the orange pedo held the event...it's a very simple logical sentence you have trouble understanding and I just don't get your blatant stupidity. 🤣

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

It all just looks so performative.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

You miss the point. Bringing together people with a common grievance isn't merely about protesting *today* -- it's about organizing *tomorrow*. It's what's happening *between* the protests that will change things.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm so tired of people telling us to incite violence.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Disrupting the system is how change starts, and we can't get there because most Americans are satisfied with screaming into the void, disrupting parks and plazas instead of ports and bridges

2 months ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

"Americans don't do anything to protest Trump!"

Americans protest Trump

Re:TheMoonBunny

2 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

I do not think it's very clever of you to complain about people who try to do something. Unless you want to weaken the growing movement. Then of course, you'd actually act pretty damn clever. I don't know which sort you are but in no way do you help with this.

2 months ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 7

you did not understand the message

2 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 11

That's what I hooe for, mate! Bc it's just unlucky language that way around. Just a bad motivation speech.

2 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

It took people starving in the streets before the French revolution, the Russian revolution, the Chinese rebellion. I think the US is close to the tipping point, but it's going to depend on whose side the military takes and whether they will be willing to fire a 50 cal into a group of civilians.
It's got to get worse before actual change will happen.

2 months ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

The first time the military fires into an innocent crowd of protesters will be the hardest. Second time will be a bit easier. Soon they'll just do it to watch their expressions change.

2 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

On a sunday.... didnt inconvenience anyone but the homeless in the bay area.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

It looks like you have no thinking skills at all. Sunday is Trump's birthday, sunday is the day he has performances on the White House lawn

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 8

Yeah those protests outside the White House... happened while he was sleeping... in a chair... on the White House lawn...
Does this look like a man who's concerned about people blowing off steam with performative protests? If those protests did anything useful, he'd be cowering in a bunker.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I merely explained the logic of why they protested when they did, not my fault you can't keep up.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Marsupialmessiah: Trump wasn't inconvenienced
You: Yeah he was, the protests happened on his birthday
Me: Trump slept through it, so he clearly wasn't bothered
You: You're stupid.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

So he doesnt notice or care about these even harder because he's watching his own live entertainment.

The USA needs to realize single day weekend protests arent accomplishing anything. If you arent hitting their bottom line, you dont matter.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I merely explained the logic of why they protested when they did, not my fault you can't keep up.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

You're talking about the most performative, cucked, nation on the planet.

If I hear an American jerk+off about their right to bear arms one more time, I'm going to fucking lose it.

Absolutely pathetic. The entire country gets what it fucking deserves.

2 months ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 24

Fap-fap-fap-"uugghhh! Big hairy.... Arms!" -fap-fap-fap

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

You know when they say This is not who we are!" in their speeches when talking about exploitation and racism? When it's totally who they are. I hate it so much.

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

The problem is that the people "jerking off" to their right to "bear arms" are NOT the same people that are complaining about trump and protesting against him. Not to mention, unlike other countries, America's size makes it hard to have effective protesting

2 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 4

Blair Mountain was a fucking protest, not your babyshit streetside picnics.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

that size argument is only an excuse. In fact size and the uniformity of the country makes it a lot easier. But you need to change your vision on tactics

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 6

Australia here: bullshit!

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 6

Awesome! So my life has been put in danger here in the Middle East because Americans couldn't be bothered ousting their corrupt and criminal head of state, because the country is . . . big?

Great argument, I stand corrected.

2 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 11

That argument has somehow been hardwired into your avg “good guy” American’s brain as a pathetic fucking excuse to let things be and not organize. the amount of times I’ve hear “But my country big” is absolutly shocking.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Any excuse 🤣

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

Let's be honest, you didn't like Americans talking about the 2nd Amendment BEFORE Trump became president. You blamed them for exercising it, and now you're blaming them for not exercising it.
Are you from Europe? Oceania? Where are you from? Because I guarantee you your own country and people are in their own glass house and shouldn't be throwing stones at America's glass house.

2 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 11

Righto, champ.

Well, America's inability to use their precious pew-pews and overthrow their government has resulted in my region becoming the most unstable it's been in a long time. But I'm sure a little hippy circle and some well-crafted protest signs will fix everything.

So I think I'm allowed to be critical.

No wonder the French think Americans are fucking useless.

2 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 13

The French? You mean the country whose entire welfare system was built on the back of American money, namely the "Marshall Plan", while America fought to make sure its own people couldn't have the same... The country that FORCED Haiti to pay reparations to it for the slaves it lost when Haiti gained independence?

2 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 11

Nice details, but at least they know how to protest.

I've seen Asian countries get rid of their leaders for far less than what Trump is guilty of.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

The fuck u on about.. the foundations of the French social security system were established in 1945, before Marshall Plan aid even began, and the welfare state was funded primarily through French taxation and social contributions. The Marshall Plan helped France recover economically, but it did not create the French welfare state. You disingenuous dumbass. And EVEN if that were remotely true, it makes it that much more pathetic that the US could not / did not build one of themsleves.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

And I know I'm going to get downvoted for that, and for this:
get over your aversion to risking martial law... so long as you're afraid of that happening, they have a sword to dangle over your head to make you compliant with their tyranny.

I'm ready to go whenever you're ready to stop letting Trump control you with the fear of martial law.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

What do you suggest?

2 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

General strikes, or direct action.

2 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 4

What does that even mean?

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

These Amerians are so far gone “general strike” are alien language to them apparently. There there, it’ll all be fine if you just ride it out, things will get better by themselves, don’t you worry now…

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 13

Or you can be a sarcastic cockwomble, that definitely fixes the problem.

That's how I know all you fuckers are as performative as it gets. You so often get the choice between: Kick Americans while they are down, or, Actually help in what way you can to unfuck the situation that is affecting you by proxy.

And without fail you fuckers would rather get those kicks in then actually try to solve the problem. Yup, that DEFINITELY solved the problem. You did it, boss. Good job, go get an ice cream.

2 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Stfu loser, sitting on your ass while the world burns, complaining that the ones doing something aren't doing it the way you want it done. Get it done yourself if you think it needs doing or shut the fuck up.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Only a kicked dog hollers.
Performative protest accomplishes nothing other than lulling you into a false sense of doing something.
So long as you're unwilling to risk martial law, you're just doing what Trump wants you to do: nothing.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

And only an idiot resorts to clichés. Action is better than inaction, it's how revolutions begin. But please tell me, how's Putin's dick taste?

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Since apparently your reading comprehension skills are shit, I'll simplify the point to you.
These protests are pretend protests. Trump knows you won't do shit, and so he's ignores them. Performative protests are identical to inaction except for one thing: they trick those participating into thinking they've done something.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Since you're too incompetent to make a good argument, I'll end it here. You're sat on your ass doing nothing useful for anyone, criticising people doing the actual work.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't know, tell me how Trump's dick tastes, seeing as how you're defending inaction against him. These protests are a fucking JOKE.
The GOP pussied up the Democrats so much since the George Floyd protests by complaining about how they weren't "peaceful". Protests aren't supposed to be peaceful. Things actually changed for the better as a result of those protests. Police accountability was on the rise.
But now... now you're so scared shitless of martial law you REFUSE to be effective.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Instead you just take a day off from work that you can afford to take off and blow off some steam in a performative protest. What's more, TRUMP KNOWS IT! On Sunday, the motherfucker SLEPT... OUT DOORS... with protesters just a few hundred feet from where he was sleeping.
He knows the protests are meaningless and that the protestors aren't actually a threat.
He keeps you cowed by dangling that sword over your head, a sword that would strike HIM if he dropped it. And yet you cower.
