#11 I talked to a farmer at a farmers market and I remarked about how nice his tomatoes were and if they were organic. He said no...he had given up being an organic farmer because he didn't have the stomach for it. The combine blades would drip red with the blood of the creatures who were living in his fields. He said he would have to stop periodically and wash the blood off just so he could see his crops he was harvesting. He called Organic farming the "Killing fields". Made me thing about that

The main thing is, "organic" is a marketing label that really doesn't have much to do with sustainability or resource depletion.

Apparently the lactase persistence mutation which enables lactose tolerance after childhood happened somewhere in Southern Sweden, Norway or Denmark. So yes, the "Nords" do drink milk.
