Like with the parks systems and all our other conservation efforts... there is no economic toll. It brings in money from tourism and our own citizens paying parking fees, camping permits, etc. That's like the one good thing people could never deny about the US is the wondrous natural, mostly untouched places. That our greed never got to destroying until now.

And chances are, we will one day be one of those species. Typical fucking dimwits who do not realize we are one component of an entire ecosystem, and we're out of control.
