You perfect Canadians! It’s legal in uruguay too but no bins, you just gotta throw it in the trash. This is a brilliant idea
urmassurmas

LanceHol
How can I get this concession here in Colorado?
ThisGuyPostingThings
Yes, the only airport in Canada. Though seriously, it's there because you're not allowed to bring it to other countries.
hartm08260
This is not how you dispose of cannabis
nosoupforoldmen
Very useful. You wouldn't want airport employees to buy their own weed would you?
misplacedmaritimer
Y'all dont have these? Its only for those flying out of county,, can fly with weed if staying in Canada :)
fett31212000

BadPunsAplenty
Don't worry boss, I volunteer to stay late and empty all the bins. For the whole year.
RaquelGitch
For the next 10 years.
panamjck
I would expect those bins to be... higher
SophieClockwise
Do they start work or stop it at 4:20?
HighOnJavel

Last time I left Canada, we had a large bag of kind leftover so we rolled it into a 33cm joint and left it in an ashtray out front.

That's checkpoint A in Montreal airport. Cannabis is illegal to transport outside of the country, so we have those deposits.
JudgeMentaI
I would install my own bin right by the door

Got back from Canada two weeks ago, I don’t remember seeing this bin. I don’t remember much to be fair...
Dsharppe

MarblesFromSpace
I haven't seen it in most of the airports I've been to this month, but I did see it in Montreal airport.
onewallpaperaweek

Friend who works airport security said no one ever puts anything in there, except maybe lighters.
Jeqt
Haha wink, nod.
NaughtButOne
While cannabis is legal now, it's still regulated. Lots of security stuff. Probably zip-tied bins, signature pick-up/drop-off at a minimum.
valen00
hold my beer, gonna open a secure weed disposal company brb
derscur
Nobody, because it's always empty
Platypushat
wouldn't you, like, just nip outside and smoke it all instead...
Ilikestyx
Some people forget that they can't travel with their dope.
MastahPetah
Actually a pretty good idea. Remind people a bunch so they dont accidentally end up in prison after they land.
madebyjon
Just make sure they are out of sight of the pre-clearance Us customs.
buttpoopmaster
That’s what ur dad says before he leaves on vacation without u
JustinSane6
Only domestically. I assume these are for international flights.
ApuqA
And you can carry up to 30 grams on domestic flights. Respectable situation!
Alrathra
That's a lotta weed you can fly with.
AlexKeed
So that you can fly higher.
thalass
yeah this is the sign at my local airport, /a/On7UtxX

That's a lot of grams.
And the equivalent in concentrate or edibles.. which is a really lot of grams.
Yeah but where i live thats a lot of jail time.
CatsUpvoteTerror
Why a limit? I'd it's legal
alphanumerikk
The logic being that 30 grams is plenty even for a heavy habitual user, anything more and it'd be considered trafficking (still illegal)
Cannabis is legal but only in limited personal quantities. You cant just have 10 kilos on yourself. Same for painkillers
GlenL
Because possession is legal, dealing is not.
StaringAtSidewalks
Because we do have laws about how much we can normally have on us.
