First day at home!

Social and playful from day 1

Loves cuddling

Always rolling over

Nap time in the sun

Rolls over in front of people to get belly rubs

Always snuggling

After putting my dog and best friend to sleep in March it was hard to no longer have a sidekick at home. Went to the CARE adoption center and found this little cat. She had been thrown away along with her family and was the sole survivor. After being rescued she had been living at the adoption center since December. Evidently her weight was an issue for most people so she waited for 4 months to find a companion. I've never owned a cat but instantly fell in love! She loves being social, gets excited when people visit, and loves life! Meet Julia jones!

Put her on low calorie food and ration it. She'll hate it, but it might prevent her from getting diabetes. Which would kill her.

Or is it the cat that decided to adopt you

Your cat is my cat's twin. I would prove it, but I don't know how to post a picture... :(

Look at my asshole hooman!

I want to just snuggle her tummy! I love fat cats!

Just monitor it's activity, they have a habit of bringing you live presents

@OP I'll love you for belly rubs also

Ur new to cats, please DO NOT have her declawed no matter what vets say. It's a mutilating and abusive procedure.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Declawing sounds painful and I would never want to hurt her! I popped little plastic caps on her front nails and they seem to work well.

Older cats are awesome. Kittens are cute assholes and don't even know it.

that cat looks like it has a very limited set of movement skills.

Loves cuddling. And plotting murder apparently.

Congrats @op, I'm lying here in bed petting my rescue floofs belly... gotta have belly rubs 24/7!

Nice! And congrats to you! Aren't rescue floofs the sweetest?!!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

She is awesome! "Full figured" lol

Pic #1 "Is this a toy?" Pic #2 "I give up"

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Haha! I bought her a few toys like that with catnip and she doesn't ever play with them. Just lays on them and gets covered in catnip.

Lmao! Damn junkie

You adopted an adult, tabby, overweight kitty - the most overlooked cats at the shelters. Today you are my hero!!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks! She's amazing and will now live a spoiled life! Sweetest cat I've ever met and incredibly well behaved. Very thankful I found her!

Am I the only one who thought OP was talking about a person when saying "put dog &best friend to sleep"?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Good luck with your murder floof

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks!! So entertaining to watch...so different then dogs!

The best cat I ever had was nicknamed Moose. He was huge. Lived to be 18. I still miss him 10 years after he died.

Beautiful!

That is one of the nicest plumpest pussy I seen today.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Surrounded by soft and nicely groomed hair..lol!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

She's not fat, she's just fluffy.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's so awesome that you adopted like me. It makes you feel so happy. #nomorebreeding

I've had many rescue floofs in my lifetime and they know they've got it good. Thanks for helping her out, she will reward you with Love!

Rescued my boy last July & he's the best roommate I've ever had. Previous owner "returned" him, their loss is my gain.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thanks for the good wishes, and for being a rescue parent as well!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You throw rhe term "little cat" around pretty loosely. She's a beaut.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#3 is pure murder. There hasn't been a more perfect image captured of a cat in full serial-killer-planning-mode.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Haha! She definitely has the creepy look conquered. She's very sweet, or maybe she's training me to let my guard down?!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That just made me laugh so hard I spit out my coffee! Perfect! Lol

Are you sure you didn't rescue her from a cat food factory?

9 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 2

Fat cat raids the cat food factory.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lmfao! I've been asked that question more then once!

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Fat shaming a cat?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If you think you can make a cat feel shame, you're gonna have a bad time.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

What a pretty torbie girl! Rescues are the best. Chubby kitties, lean kitties: had both. Both full of love and fun!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wanna motorboat the fuck outta yo cat.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Haha! Well she's soft and would let you. She follows everyone and constantly rolls on her back in front of them. An odd cat for sure!

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yaasssss!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

... people don't want to adopt fat cats? Wtf. Good on ya op, you got a good one!

9 years ago | Likes 128 Dislikes 1

Who doesn't love a fat cat. It's even a complement. Plus they're love lumps, and, if i were a cast out kitty I'd have food issues to.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was like cats huge, looked at pictures was like, still would adopt... it's a cat... cats a cat no matter what weight.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I adopted a slightly fat cat. Now have a fat cat. It's not her diet. Fat little shit just doesn't move.

9 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

Adopted a skinny cat. Now have a fat cat. Lazy fuck. Love him so much

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Fat cats give best cuddles. I love my dopey little fat ball

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

He just climbs up on you and rolls over for belly scratches. He's such a dork. But we do have him on a diet now

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Evidently people assumed she'd be unhealthy. I think there's just more to love and cuddle with!

9 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 2

They say fat but i see more fluff to cuddle.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Eh, naturally you have to watch their diet to prevent problems later, but that's easy... When there's only one cat at least...

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

The poor thing was living in a cage for months, so of course she was fat! Then again, most people put on winter weight as well.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Right. My cat lost a ton of weight as soon as he had space and access to ceiling high scratching post. (Couldn't climb it at first, it /1

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

was adorable to watch. Didn't give up, though. :D)
