The guy gave the raven two of what looked like maybe worms. Right? He’s probably been training this bird for a while.

I fed a crow with a broken wing once, it gave me a flower petal

I am in the process of befriending some hooded crows in my garden. They are not only curious, but also strong, so they often cause trouble >

Pretty sure the birb was paid in meat for showing the human what it likes to eat from the forest.
sal0qwerty
Look like ash they are ok but eating too many can upset your stomach
nuttzor
They seem to be rowan-berries. They are eatable, can be used for jam
swedeonamoose
Less nice to eat as they are tho, used to get a mouthfull of them and spat them at my little brother when we were kids.

Keeping some on your person will stop you from being enchanted by the fair folk. This bird knows something’s up.
GentlemanScientist
I agree. Very tart, but good in a jelly or jam.

In case you're ESL, we use the word "edible," not "eatable." :)

How do u make friends with crows?
AgamemnonsMemes
Just feed them regularly and be nice to them, like with most people.
I recently tried to teach my dog to not jump at birds on a field full of crows and fed them his treats while he was supposed to just wait /1
...hundreds of them literally circled us after a few minutes. And when we were leaving, they moved with us in a huge flock. It was amazing.
If you approach them, don't look at them directly. Look towards the side. Then leave them treat for them so that they can see it and retreat
Then hope they take it. Repeat process for the next few weeks.
clamdriver
Take them to miniature golf.

Crows have phones, you just need to caw caw caw them.

It’s actually easier to reach them by internet since they all have Wi-Fly
grahaCheeseWrecker
Food mostly. They love peanuts in their shells. Let them see you put them out for them. It'll take ages but, they will start to leave gifts.

My work has lots of crows. Time to become an eldritch god

We've been feeding a couple of ravens on our property. They're slowly getting closer to us.
Wife rang me yesterday. She suspects they are establishing a new rookery. Around 100 lined up on the roofs. Small woods close.
