After dispatching the first one, some will come up to see what's going on, making them more likely to be next. In this way, my wife is an force in the natural selection process of making smarter chickens.
Worked on a turkey farm. Had arguments with the chicken farm down the road about whether chickens or turkeys were stupider. Sorry can’t imagine anything stupider than a turkey.
Worked for a raptor center. Contrary to their stereotype: owls are incredibly stupid. Turkey Vultures on the other hand: surprisingly social and intelligent birds. You just need to get past them vomiting on their legs to stay cool.
