Dude, come down, all our friends are here! -That first birb

"Hey! He left with all the food!" --Second Bird, probably

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Unfortunately you still have to butcher a bird for your meal.

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

believed they would be fired. Pleasantly surprised.

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Where's the coyote? Where's the ACME brand logo?

8 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Nowhere nearby. The trap works correctly, so it can't be an Acme product.

This is kind of sad. So beware.

I'm as surprised as the birds. Didn't see that coming. And what does one do with trapped birds?

Thank you. I need almost everything explained.

American voters and Republican presidencies come to mind for no reason at all.

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is the red arrow necessary?

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yes

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

How else would the birds know where the seed was? Did you learn nothing from the work of Professor Wile E. Coyote?

8 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

These birds aren't roadrunners

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

no free lunch

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Better would be to have the bird seed on a second platform floating just above the trap door so you don't have all the bird seed fall in with the bird.

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same energy as seeing a guy in a dark alley holding a gun in one hand and a plate of tacos in the other. He does have a plate of tacos.

8 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

hard shell or soft shell?

8 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

They're street tacos of course.

8 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Bum rush and tackle for the gun.

If you live, you get a free gun, free tacos, and a free wallet. If you don't, your problems are over.

My logic is sound and I will not be taking any questions.

trap worked you clicked or would have on whatever the original source was

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That is...not a smart bird.

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

K, now glue some of the seeds down.

Pigeonsinagrainsilo.gif

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

but why are you trapping these birbs?

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Quail eggs.

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because once plucked, prepped, and roasted they'll be delicious?

8 months ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

and then they were brought to my uncle's farm upstate where they can run free for the rest of their lives, right?

They get reused for videos

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Were there killed and plucked and gutted and turned into beautiful little roast quails all happy and warm inside

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well they're ~obviously~ not gonna make it in the wild.

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes, absolutely. For the rest of their lives….

8 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yes, of course. But there's an asterisk beside "rest of their lives" and some mighty fine print in the footnote

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thought they would get axed. Pheasantly surprised.

8 months ago | Likes 208 Dislikes 4

I quailed.

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Quaility pun

8 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

They will, but probably not on camera.

8 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Just a different you tube channel. Really all you want is the breast

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah - what's up with that? Oh, and +1 for the nice word play.

8 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

It supports the elastic that holds the trapdoor.

8 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's so that you don't see it coming.

8 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

A pheasant surprised, with a birdbrain.

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Would work for people if it was big enough and you baited it with DDR5 RAM.

8 months ago | Likes 230 Dislikes 5

I was rockn with ddr3 as of a month ago

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or maybe some free dirt...

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Or money, drugs, booze, etc

8 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Good thing im still rockn ddr4

8 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

NOPE you can only catch me 3 times like that. There will NOT be a 4th

8 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Where is that trap? I'm willing to try

8 months ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Well, I'm getting molested.

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yes but did you get the RAM?

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No, but I got molested, so it's still a win. I think?

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 months ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 0

The real deal when just don't mind him touching your private place with that sweet sweet DDR5 RAM due.

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If I don't see the goods, the organs that get harvested won't be mine.

I love how the second one watches the first one get trapped, thinks about it a second, and is like "nah it's fine"

8 months ago | Likes 583 Dislikes 0

"Ha, what a bird brain-OH NO"

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

“Nah, I’d win”

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Dude! There are WAY more seeds down here!"

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cows are dumb like this too. I grew up on a beef farm. At the slaughter house the cows are lined up single fire and led to a trough filled with molasses oats. While the cow is distracted eating they get popped by a captive bolt gun. Like what the guy with the haircut in No Country for Old Men uses. They’re then put on a hook and dragged off the line. The next cows SEES this happen and thinks: “OH NO, MARGE! What did they do to Mar… hey, is that molasses oats up there?” And moved right into place

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He just wants to know where the food went.

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"it should be fine, correlation is not necessarily causation"

8 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

It’s funny, though, because everyone who confuses correlation with causation eventually winds up dead 🤷🏻‍♂️

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"Bird brain"...

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It reminds me of some people. "That didn't happened to me so nothing to be concerned about".

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

When your survival technique is based on predators only taking enough for a feed and survival by numbers.

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We all thought it.

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"More seeds for me! fuck that guy."

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Those are domestics, so yeah, pretty dumb

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We raise chickens. They are very stupid. The smart ones head for the trees when my wife comes with a hatchet. After dispatching the first one, some will come up to see what's going on, making them more likely to be next. In this way, my wife is an force in the natural selection process of making smarter chickens.

8 months ago | Likes 154 Dislikes 2

Worked on a turkey farm. Had arguments with the chicken farm down the road about whether chickens or turkeys were stupider. Sorry can’t imagine anything stupider than a turkey.

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

We've had turkeys too and I agree. Turkeys are more stupid than chickens.

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So if anything your wife should be chasing down the smart and flighty chickens!

8 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

That explains this:

Sorry I thought you was corn.

The third feels like a mixed bag, but I still liked it.

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Wait, the third is out now?

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

With a few exceptions (Corvids, Parrots and a few others) birbs in general are pretty stupid.

8 months ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

Thus the existence of the insult “Bird Brain!”

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Worked for a raptor center. Contrary to their stereotype: owls are incredibly stupid. Turkey Vultures on the other hand: surprisingly social and intelligent birds. You just need to get past them vomiting on their legs to stay cool.

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I heard that about owls from other bird experts.

That they’re just… so… incredibly…. Stupid. 🥲

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean, animals full stop. Ones we attempt to have as pets are the exception, and some larger marine life.

8 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Animals are as smart as they need to be. A pit trap like this is well outside what these birds evolved to deal with.

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And I have my suspicions about humans, too.
