And of course it's all bullshit

"As of April 2026, the "No Tax on Tips" legislation largely excludes independent contractors like DoorDash drivers, meaning they do not get the tax break on tips, despite high reliance on them. While some 2025 legislation initially proposed allowing up to
of tip deductions for gig workers, many versions of the bill exclude 1099 workers, keeping tax liabilities high."

I doubt Trump had anything to do with her earning $11k in tips...maybe (if any of this is true) it affects her tax return. More than likely she'd be bitching about paying $5 per gallon in gas and the high price of car repairs.

Time to audit her tax returns, sounds like she's massaging some of the numbers.

Or White House Barbie just pulled that number out of her ass.

oh yeha now we just "tip" our rich friends to transfer money for free.

I drove for DoorDash for a full year. I made about $130 in tips. Most customers don't tip at all, very few ever go over $1.

It's staged. She's been used in other Trump commercials.

I don’t understand why the Hitler youth maha fitness influencers are always silent when they see trump eating so much fast food

Even if it was true, we shouldn't be living in a society where an older woman has to do this l and rely on tips to support her family. It's not the flex they think it is.

So… a grandma has to be a delivery driver to keep her husband alive because there is no universal medical? … is this a win?

Leave on Porch, code, picture, bye. Who comes to the door?? Insane.

Well in an average persons case, I have to meet the dasher at the door because my building is electronic access only and Im not leaving my food outside in the parking lot but in THIS case, it makes it more obvious that it’s staged because it makes seem like any Dasher can just walk up to the White House and deliver food to THE PRESIDENT of all people without a hitch. But the fact that she’s shilled for him before using the same name and all, it makes sense that they’d get someone who would lie.

Who walks up to the White House without a guard or escort, knocks on the door and has Trump answer?

4 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Don’t be fooled Trump probably doesn’t even wipe his own ass let alone grab Door Dash from peasants.

It’s so insane how he believes THIS makes him a president of the people, using a service that makes fast food more expensive than a sit down restaurant.

I wish I would have saved them for you sauce lovers, but I have read multiple articles in the last 8 weeks describing all of the tipped employees who saw zero benefit from this law.

DoorDash does not deduct taxes from paychecks, which is why drivers often owe money at the end of the year.

This is the case for any work done on a 1099

While "No Tax on Tips" legislation was signed for 2025–2028, it typically applies only to federal income tax, not the self-employment tax. Additionally, tracking tips vs. base pay can be complex as DoorDash may not break this out separately on tax forms.

I used to ”work” for Shipt as a shopper, so I understand a little bit about how these apps work.

That doesn't make you a tax expert

Math? That is over $30 a day in tips alone. My second job is driving for Yoober Eetz and lemme tell ya $30 worth of tips for a day is about 8-10 hours of driving. Let's call it 9.

Math? She would have to drive for 9 hours a day, every day, without a day off, year-round, to reach that level of tips.

So, suck our woke dick. And not just the tip.

$11k is a lot. Adding some real world maths to it makes it more suspicious.

Didn't he say saved $11k in taxes? Otherwise, what is the tax on $11k of income? I doubt it's more than health insurance

4 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Its even more fuzzy the closer you look at it. I thought it implied she made $11k in tips that wasn't taxed. Saving $11k in taxes for one woman would indicated she earned significantly more in tips to get taxed - like $30-50k in tips. Which seems impossible.

$11k is just some bullshit number they made up; either the driver didn’t want to embarrass herself by saying the true much lower number, or the press office pulled the number out of thin air

She's a paid actor and it was scripted
