We used to play this in band, on the stage at basketball games on Friday nights. This, and Sweet Caroline, and Land of a Thousand Dances, and Peter Gunn...
Fun fact: dude can actually sing well. A lot of the cast was very musically inclined. They did a convention concert a few years ago, and Corey Taylor (who is a huge fan of the show) asked if he could sing with them. By all accounts, they both fan girled out for a minute before doing the performance. Sauce here: https://youtu.be/H_W1BSnP-UM
And Jensen Ackles plays Soldier Boy, with Jared and Misha set to appear in the upcoming final season! Jim Beavers is also in it, playing a character named Robert Singer again, haha.
I'm rewatching it now! Still have some dread knowing how it ends, but I've accepted the quality ups and downs and am just enjoying the ride now. Season 7 isn't so bad when you just go with it.
For a moment I thought that area he was scratching (each redness from scratching or just in shadow) was the Mark of Cain, before I remembered which episode this was, and that it was on the other arm.
I think the writers/showrunners originally had the plans laid out for the first five seasons, and then the producers picked up on how popular the show really was and... They got to make more!
Season five. I believe they just rewrote the original series finale a bit. I'm sure they were already greenlit for a sixth by that time.
That was when Kripke said he'd leave the show and we stopped watching. Kind of excited to have that many new episodes to watch, but man... fifteen seasons is a doozy.
Asking for a friend, what show are you guys referencing? Also, friend wants to mention this song sucked the first time he heard it in Rocky III, and only got worse over the course of another 1,000,000 plays on radio and MTV.
This is an out-take/post-credits scene from an episode of Supernatural, don't remember which, but in the first five seasons. The actor is just being silly to the song, and they decided to include it at the end once the episode proper had finished.

OMG. I recognized the car before I even opened the post. And that bit lives rent free in my head too.

I like his version of 'Simple Man' as well

Thanks for that. I didn't know this existed and it's super fun!

This show is S tier. Rewatching it even if its just background noise. Eric Kripke also did the boys if anyone cares

I'm currently at season 6 episode 20.
SaturnineCult
Damn, I never watched this but I just checked that the series was really from the good times, over 20 episodes per season.Should I binge it?
desalniettemin
I like it. Its much of the same later on, but I still kept watching. I'm currently at season 6 episode 20.
Stillidsen
Yes
RatsLiveOnNoEvilStar
Yes. Expect low points, but it is mostly high points.
Know that the original plan was just 5 seasons and the show tells a solid complete story in those 5 years.
After that, the show’s creator leaves to do other projects and other show runners come in and take a bit to get their footing.
They do though and there is a reason it went on as long as it did.
Niagaran
And they dragged it out probably 5 seasons more than they should have.
TapeLeg
wasn't this at the end of an episode after the credits or something?

yes, scratching his arm was part of the symptoms of the fear disease in the episode

Great outtake… liked the episode

The best part is hearing the crew members in the background barely holding in their laughter
Metallica93
Indeed. I stopped at the original ending (looks like it got ten more seasons, which is bonkers), but remember this like it was yesterday. Too funny.
DWandRFaremyspiritbeings
Seasons 6 to 15 were still pretty good to varying degrees. Better than 99% of the dogshit that gets put out there, in my opinion.
Metallica93
Maybe after the Star Trek marathon. I've always wanted to watch it all of the way through.
MadamPuddifoot
What season was the original ending?

I think the writers/showrunners originally had the plans laid out for the first five seasons, and then the producers picked up on how popular the show really was and... They got to make more!

A LOT more. I wanna do a rewatch but it's intimidating!
