That just never made any sense to me. Like why in every alien franchise installment are like the big corporations like omg its perfect. How? Its life cycle is fundamentally flawed. It has no self preservation instinct, at best it has an alright sense of hearing, no sense of smell, or sight presumably. Lacks any sort of real problem solving skills or intellect. I saw Spaceballs at a young age and didn't see Alien til later. I got the gag just from knowing what chestbursters were, but it wasn't til I rewatched the former after seeing the latter that I realized that John Hurt was the victim in both, which made it even funnier.
