So, I made a discord server. It's a relaxed environment where you can take/donate memes to the cause, play trivia twice a week, chat about lots of topics or about nothing at all. We also have Jack Box game night and are setting up movie night! Very laid back/relaxed vibe. Come hang with us.

I'm also on the imgcat server for updates & fun:

Unable to work, zero income. Feel free to leave me a tip. Those that have, y'all are the bee's knees. You've honestly been my lifeline. For the couple people that have said I'm "scamming" people, I only get SNAP, so this money goes to things like TP, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc.

#22 not even a joke I heard as many fireworks going off on the 10th as the 4th to the point I was like "is there some second secret holiday I don't know about?"

That poor shark :( Bloodied to fuck

2 weeks ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

(And note it wasn't trying to attack anyone--and didn't... it was eating bait they offered it on a line which really should be illegal)

#3 How did the shark get in the cage? Did it break? Anybody have a link with more info?

2 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

#1 do NOT try this with an Australian flying fox

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is a flying fox. Stop perpetuating bullshit.

2 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Okay,Mr Pedantic: I was thinking of the Grey-Headed flying fox (pteropus poliocephalus) that is endemic to my local area, Eastern Australia. They are never (normally) pure black, even as pups. This one may be an unusual specimen but that’s not what I was referring to

Where is #22 from?

#3 Not sure if I just saw someone die or not. Was there only one guy in the cage to start with, or is this two-men-enter-one-man-leaves thunderdome kinda deal?

2 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I'm not sure how the shark got in.

2 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I don’t think the shark knows either but he definitely was like “get me outta here bros it’s too cramped”

Boss: ?

Employee: There was a duck stampede...

*wouldn't be late

But good news - they’re now in a row!

#5 are americans unable to open blister packs or what is the issue here? just push the damn pill out and done, easier than opening some child-safety bottle cap...

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

here they're not push outable, you have to cut it open

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

lolwut? why is there barely any day that one doesnt learn about a thing the US does wrong? absolutely ridiculous...like, the whole idea of these blister packs with the perforations is that you can isolate a single pill with its packaging and carry it in your backpack or purse and take it whenever you need it...needing tools to open the blister goes totally contrary to that...baffling...

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

they have a layer of almost like thin cardboard over the foil, really hard to get open

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ridiculous...over here its just some kind of aluminium-like foil, you can pierce it with your fingernails, but thats not even necessary...if you push onto the pill from the front it normally comes out at the back quite easily...

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

we have some like that but a lot aren't and you have to use scissors lol it's dumb

I think the cat was just making sure it wasn't poison. Here big thing, eat this...

2 weeks ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

this would never work with my cat he goes rabid for popcorn

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#5 For today's 10,000 it's a brand name of Loperamide and is a heavy duty anti-diarrhea medication

2 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

So.... a butt plug ?

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Pretty much. It clogs everything up (it eventually unclogs, but that's a problem for future you)

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Well yes, and Tylenol is a brand name of acetaminophen, a mild analgesic and antipyretic.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

OK? But they were talking about Imodium

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I know, I'm just saying that not knowing about Imodium is like not knowing about Tylenol.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

OK. Might be an American thing. I only learned about it when I REALLY needed it. Maybe I just had a sheltered childhood.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Or I had a lot of intestinal issues. Oh well, take care!

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

#3 How did the shark get in there.... #4 I like how the cat saw the dog eating the popcorn and came to the conclusion that it must be good so he tried some!

2 weeks ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 0

Big fish big power

2 weeks ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

If this is the footage I think it is, the guys fabricated their own shark cage. The used inferior metal that started breaking apart (or the joints did) once it was in the ocean (they only tested in pool water, not salt). They chummed the area like crazy and the person in the cage was basically in a blood cloud.

2 weeks ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

He gets to tell one hell of a story for surviving that

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This makes sense...

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's not ideal...

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Holy fuck

#1 - Unfortunately for every adorable sky puppy, there's at least two species of bats that look like God went through a bad acid phase.

2 weeks ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

thats very simple...megabats, fruit bats or flying foxes are one family of bats, while all the other bats are at least different families, most even a different suborder of the bat order...

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I was just thinking, not all bats have cute faces like that.

2 weeks ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Horseshoe Bat -

2 weeks ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Ah, so that’s the inspiration for demogorgons

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"and that's why shoving firecrackers up your nose is a bat idea"

2 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

It's not even how cute they are. Contact with a wild bat is potentially medically significant. Remember that child that died without a bite?

2 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That child WAS likely bitten. But those bats have very small, needle-like teeth, so a little nibble doesn't leave a lingering mark for the parents to find when they looked later.

2 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

It shoved its mouth in his mouth. Mucosal exposure with infected saliva is all it takes. https://www.cmaj.ca/content/198/25/E969
