Multiple tourists get killed in the stupid thing every year
I have a US National Parks version of Candy Land. One of the rules is that you land on a rain day, you lose your turn. I call bullshit. Our house rule is that you get an extra turn for a rain day, because rain scares away all the moron tourists.
Looking at the switchbacks it looks like the hike up to Angel's Landing. Went up there a few years ago and it was an amazing trip, absolutely worth seeing

If going to Zion. Camp in pink sand dunes state park. It is like 30 min away, cheap, and adjacent to a creepy ass Mormon polygamy town with better liquor store rules than the stat of Utah

Vermillion cliffs is great because its so much harder to get to, I was at the Stateline campground last year and only saw 2 other groups of people the entire time I was out there
I just went there last year for a week long trip and was lucky enough to see Bryce covered in a rare bit of snow during the springtime. It's one of the most beautiful sights I've ever beheld.
The wilderness & land is incredible. The people... it depends lol. But it has some of the most gorgeous natural scenery I've ever seen. I think Zion is tied for the high Alps in winter for me.
