Getting a lot of "The requested page could not be found." errors when scrolling the past few days when the next image was protest related. Best of luck that your post isn't affected OP.
Schlumpfi
I see the system is working as intended :-(
SubTrout
Reminder that things like rubber bullets are LESS lethal munitions, not NON lethal because they can absolutely kill someone. But pigs use them like it's open season to just light up non-violent protestors because they finally get to feel like big boys shooting people who don't fight back.
Hashbrown123
Exactly. They are taught that a head shot is fatal so he knew there was a good chance he could kill with a headshot.
Grenateh
Could these dudes kindly die okay thanks. What the fucking fuck was the reason for this?
Notoom
"Be a good citizen" or how's about don't be a piece of shit cop?
CedricDur
People posting links about how if taking illegal orders the guards can phone in. And then these guys masturbating to the chance of shooting people without repercussions.

You’ll notice it took 6 protesters to carry her away. That’s 6 less protesters on the streets for every civilian they shoot. This is the same mentality used in war.
override367
They shoot this woman from like 3 feet away in the head after running her over with horses, how is this not on every single news channel
Animorphs
Because easily accessible news media works for them not for us.
DangerRNGR
The citizens should be swarming those officers and responding to them exactly how those officers would have to multiple armed assailants who just tried to murder someone.
thanatos777
Don't worry, I'm sure after a thorough investigation, these officers will receive the most severe possible punishment for a piece of shit pig motherfucker in the U.S.: Paid leave, and more training.
battleofhastings1066
American courts, including the Supreme court, have ruled multiple times that the police have no responsibility to help you unless they have you in custody.
SignedEpsteinsMother
Not even then
makesense
True. But with the LAPD there comes a more specific mindset. They are literally the department of 'To Protect and Serve'. That isn't a general police motto. It is the official motto of the LAPD.
WoTLert
They neglect to add the second half "our rich sugar-daddies"
battleofhastings1066
That motto does not state who they are protecting and/or serving.
SignedEpsteinsMother
I absolutely *LOVE* the victim blaming. Fucking pigs
StOfKillers
I mean come on, it’s definitely their fault. if they’d just sit back and let the fascists take away all of their rights and freedoms then none of this would be happening. /s fucking obviously
SignedEpsteinsMother
Gotta wonder exactly how many times that pig has hit a woman or child and said "look what you made me do!"

Please for the love of god wear a helmet or some kind of head protection if you are attending these protests. The police KNOW what they are doing when they target people like this.
AllTheGoodUserNamesAreTakenFML
That's how you start a civil war
manhands
Normally, I assume ineptitude over maliciousness, but these fuckers are evil enough it’s very hard to tell.

*pulls out a gun with real bullets & shoots the motherfucker in the head* - "Look bitch, you created this, this ain't a game you don't get a resurrection!", wonder if he'd like my response...
perlninja
I honestly hope someone snaps and starts making bacon. Oink oink, run little piggies run!
Buffoonery
Fuck you, pig. You're the one who took careful, deliberate aim. Concluding that your 'target' was some sort of 'threat', you chose to fire your weapon ... at her head. You know that head shots can be lethal. You learned that in training. Such a brave little piggy.
DandyLion23
Guys, we've been called in to keep the peace!
Titilve74
What we saw here in France during the Yellow Jackets protests : the State Militia quickly got rid of Tags/ID, some of them ("BRAV") hiding their bikes licence plates.
As long as they wear ID tags, it's ALMOST Ok.
If not, they are no longer there to PROTECT THE PEOPLE. 🙄😒😠
Dolenmorgul
police will have to choose a side, the military will have to choose a side and lets hope this doesn't escalate further or someone will get to be a martyr.
perlninja
Interesting considering that during training they are -explicitly- told not to fire at the groin or the head because it -can- be lethal at closer ranges. So of course that's what they do. And then the "no this your fault" ... dude, for real, wtf.
TheMoonBnuuy
"There's no ambulance to be had. This what you guys created, this is what happens."
So it's not "there's no ambulance to be had" it's "we're not calling one because you deserve this"
Here's the thing these cops are missing...
23-1239 Barnes v. Felix (05/15/2025)
https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/24pdf/23-1239_onjq.pdf
TheMoonBnuuy
In short, police are not allowed to claim qualified immunity for a situation they escalated.
Fly1
Ambulances are not wizards. Sometimes they're not available or safe to enter where you are.
For example, in the middle of a riot.
LupusLilium
Maybe I could believe that, if that road wasn't emptier than a desert. If the 'situation' was so bad that they couldn't call in for medical support where they were then those cops wouldn't have been standing around like that.
Fly1
Why is it empty? Is the next street that the ambulance has to drive through empty? Is there even a clear road to get through?
What about availability? How many others have been shot, and the other 1.4k normal calls? This video does not prove the cop is punishing the victim.
What's stopping the protesters from calling for an ambulance?
Fly1

TheMoonBnuuy
So an article written 4 months ago about something that happened 3 years ago justifies the police are going around causing medical emergencies to peaceful protestors and not even attempting to call for an ambulance?
Look man, there's "there are no ambulances" and there's "I'm not even going to try because you deserve it"
Dude literally went out of his way to give an excuse for not trying after saying there are no ambulances.
It's clear you've chosen your side, and it's not the good guys.
MoxieMonster
This was an excuse though so that they could move on and cause more damage. I dont believe for a second they made an attempt.
It's amazing how many people will use this "not my job" retorts to avoid the basics of human decency.
Lalatino
The police now exist to protect property and serve those in power not the people
katolu
"Now"? Nah, they are direct descendants of the Pinkertons.
EmperorScorpiousII
They always were here to protect property. They ALWAYS were here to serve those in power.
bippityboppitybuttsex
Yeah, I don't know why people are afraid of the CA ARNG or the USMC showing up, they are actually trained and will face consequences for violating their instructions, unlike the LAPD.
Lynkfox
Because you can't use the damn MILITARY against civilians? Even with RoE and real training, that training is to see an ENEMY and civilians of a military own country are not it's enemy, but the thing they should be PROTECTING
bippityboppitybuttsex
The ARNG does train for counter-riot measures... I would assume Marines do something similar for Embassy Protection (where the ROE are extreme... remember in 1979 when the Iranian embassy was taken... the Iranians walked unarmed young girls towards the Marines saying 'don't shoot'... and the Marines just backed up and backed up, afraid to escalate force, and then they were ordered to stand down.
MyRespectableAlterEgo
Honestly I'd feel much safer protesting around trained marines than a bunch of fatass, panicky, militarised mall cops. I like to think the Marines would at least recognise the absolute lack of actual threat, and wouldn't open fire on civilians just to test out their tacti-cool gear.
bippityboppitybuttsex
A reminder that the Marines will not escalate a threat... if you are standing there, yelling at them, they will ignore you... but if you touch them or shoot at them, all bets are off.
Give them a wide girth, just get out of their way...
MyRespectableAlterEgo
The LAPD are the ones with wide girth 😄. Definitely good to give marines a wide berth though
lackadaisycull
Will they tho? Are there any guardrails on military behavior that can’t be destroyed by Trump?
ProChoiceBaby
Cops are people too scared for military and too dumb for college. Most enlisted people are very dedicated and we are taught that civilians always out rank us, always treat civilians with respect. BUT that was back in my day, before Trump. Before Trump's fake patriotism. Makes me sad as fuck
bippityboppitybuttsex
Yeah, I once pissed off a woman for calling her 'ma'am'... (she was in her 20s) ....
Cops have been trained to treat the civilian population as threats and to act accordingly... We didn't come up with ACAB cuz most cops are good people, it is because there are no good cops.
bippityboppitybuttsex
Yeah, an Article 15 (or a Captain's Mast or getting Ninja Punched in the dick or Office Hours or whatever they are calling it now...)... the shitstorm of rank loss, loss of pay and extra duty is kind of a shit.
NappaTheFriendlyGhost
Penalties include demotion, pay reduction, extra duty (punishment style crap that no one wants to do), and getting a negative mark on your record that harms your career. Anytime you're up for promotion or anything positive really they'll take a glance at these and it can effect it.
bippityboppitybuttsex
It depends... a company-grade Article 15, for E1-E4's, usually expire as soon as you PCS (they are only stored locally at the company level)... Field -grade Article 15s do follow you around as they get put into your 201 file...
My company once tried to give me an article 15 for having blank ammo and smoke grenades in the barracks... I had come back from the field two hours before a health and welfare and handed the stuff to the inspector (cuz there was no turn-in point)...
bippityboppitybuttsex
... told them that I turned it in before the inspection started cuz I had no other option, there was no effort to conceal anything...
They ended up dropping it.
lackadaisycull
But where does the discretion lie in charging a soldier with that? Can military leadership just not do that and call it whatever bullshit the Executive Branch tells them to?
bippityboppitybuttsex
Article 15 of the UCMJ is 100% command discretionary.... (The Ninja Punch comment above is cuz it is called an NJP, Non-Judicial Punishment, as it does not involve lawyers or a court-martial).... However, if you want, you can demand a court-martial instead of signing the Art 15... but then we go into Double Jeopardy where the scores can really change and the 45 and 45 becomes 20 years of turning big rocks into little rocks.
trancek
Every single one of the National Guardsmen involved in the Kent State shootings evaded criminal convictions. If your higher-ups are sympathetic, you're gonna get away with it.
bippityboppitybuttsex
A reminder that they were charged in Federal court... it was not the military that protected them, it was a civilian judge.
