Alright. Wednesday. Halfway there. Today, we'll be hauling some farming stuff around. The route has many stops and I won't be able to finish them all today. And maybe not even tomorrow.

March of Mephisto
Kamelot
St-Jean-Port-Joli QC

First, a SaMASZ KDD 941 S disc mower, and a tiny mower in the crate at the front.

This one doesn't have any dogs. No Tumiliks inside.

Insanity's Crescendo
Dark Tranquility
St-Pascal QC

Forever
Nevermore
Beaumont QC

This song.....Knowing the story behind it changes the way you hear it. It's not just another sad song. Warrel Dane wrote it believing someone he loved had simply vanished, thinking she had joined some sort of cult or something along those lines, with no answers and no closure. Dane then began suffering from persistent, agonising nightmares in which she was crying out to him while drowning.

Only years later did he learn the truth... she had been murdered by a serial killer, while hitchhiking.

Dane sadly passed away a few years ago, while recording a solo album. I did have the chance to see Nevermore live, twice, same as his former band, Sanctuary. And, I had the opportunity to talk with him once, when I went to the first edition of the "70,000 Tons of Metal" cruise thing. I happened to see him and we talked a bit.

The tiny mower in the crate dropped here, and I replaced it with a front-end loader.

Moonshield
In Flames
St-Hyacinthe QC

Quick stop to add a ZTrak on the kick. The kick is the top front-end of a drop deck trailer like I have.

The Bollard
Wuthering Heights
Ange-Gardien QC

Invincible
Avantasia
St-Jean-sur-Richelieu QC

Here, the disc mower and the ZTrak stayed, and I loaded a small snow blower unit.

Turn Loose the Mermaids
Nightwish
St-Isidore ON

Ramund
Myrkur
Winchester ON

Parked in front of the gate, ready for tomorrow. The rain stopped as I parked but picked up again a few minutes after and lasted for about an hour before it slowed down again.

And that was it for today. With the heavy rain I postponed my running for later and decided to have supper now. First, a salad.

And then some grocery store sushis. Not the best around, not the worst, but still better than greasy fries and burgers.

For dessert, strawberries and mango. I usually cook my own lunches for the week, but this week at a lot of ifs and maybes, and I didn't know I was to he away from home for a few days until late yesterday afternoon when I was about to go home. I figured I'd eat something different this time, and I won't have to use my "emergency food" that I have in the truck.

The rain calmed down a bit. Time to go out there and run.

I saw on Goggle Maps that this road reaches town, going through the farm fields.

Not much traffic here.

The rain started again during my run, and my phone also died.

Not bad.

Alright, eepy time! Cheers!

What do all those gauges show in the last one? After being out of complete rookie state, what was your most nerve-wrecking maneuver you had to complete? Either due to the sheer complexity, or external pressures?

I suppose running in the rain at least cools you off?

My wife especially approves the music content, she loves power/symphonic metal.

What is the song during the running clip? I’m always looking for good music with no vocals to play while I’m doing desk work.

That's the song Stratosphere, by Stratovarius

Tumi shall not be contained.

I got mad sick a few weeks ago on grocery store sushi so I hope your system fares better.

I also for once recognized none of your music. But I like.

Tumi needs to be outside with her fluffy tail, just like in yesterday's post haha

She pines for the fjords. And snow!

Rain and a dying phone. Hardships. Back in my days we didn't even had phones and had to play our music ourselves, which was the style at the time if we wanted some. Yes, that's how it was. Interesting goods on your trailer today, and some unknown music. Very nice. Hearing something I don't know is as good as singing along. Stay safe out there.

I think back in the days people had to bring their own turntable with them while running?

That was after turntables were invented, young one. I talk about the before times.
