The light unpacked snow will flow down at an insane rate and bury you easily. Kinda like how water in a river can flow at different speeds

wind chill) Snow will keep a place cold without a constant source of heat, but it will also keep a place evenly warmed and at a consistent
temperature with just a mild source of heat. So mild, that your body can act as that source of heat in a properly made snow shelter.
