I think it all depends on the whims of this administration. On the one hand, they could fabricate evidence that he's a leftist/trans supporter/whatever the fuck they want to call him and could probably get it to stick, but on the other since he's actually alt right and from a Trump supporting family, they could just give him a slap on the wrist. Since he got caught they did pivot pretty hard from "the shooter was trans and needs to be drawn and quartered immediately" to "we should forgive him".

In one of his last interviews, he said Israel is doing an ethnic cleansing, he also said that Israel let Oct. 7 happen, and that there was a stand-down order. He is a piece of shit, but he probably thought he was safe to do a 180° on Israel, given how many of his followers are critical of it.

Ya know, I wonder if a defense attorney could get all the evidence tossed in this case due to mishandling of the evidence. SInce there's a couple of instances where they mishandled texts, the 'confession' and some other shit. Like if an attorney can get that stuff tossed for mishandling, you could easily push for a mistrial, or even get off entirely if you can convince a jury that the feds fucked this case so hard that they might still have the wrong guy.

The answer is yes, there's probably a sizable amount of evidence that can be challenged given how this has all been handled and if they can prove that text exchange was forged the whole case could be dismissed with prejudice.

So I haven't been following the case, since I don't really care honestly. I'm more pissy about how big a deal the whole thing is. But from a forensics standpoint, the whole thing with them having a real fucking hard time providing the discord messages (Which can be subpoena'd from Discord, and would be in clear plaintext) tells me they're fucking the dog with this case. I kinda stopped paying attention after that, since I could tell it'll be a shitshow.
