Yeah, I used TDK D, or the high-bias kind when ripping a CD. Memorex sounded dull but it's the one I found a decent image of.

Okay. I'm going to be 41 this year. I was raised on mini disc and limewire. I miraculously lucked out and never got a virus, from limewire that is. (The other one is a whole different story. Both were preventable, I grew up on the internet, not with people.) I didn't even know that there were lyrics in cassette cases until I was 31, someone died, it's okay though. Hey, so, yeah, when physical media was a thing, it was, to me, better. Yet I stream.

I would buy the LP, record it to cassette, photo copy the record sleeve, cut and tape together the lyrics into a foldable size I could stuff into the tape cartridge with the cassette, after I carefully entered the album artist/title info onto the top edge cardboard insert, the wrote out each song in order in the two columns, A side and B side. Fuck I love streaming from my phone.

It was the coated paper with ink. Very chemically, not a great smell but one that you for some reason wanted to keep smelling.

In short, yes. data mining like this takes little pieces of information, like a puzzle. With each piece, they learn the demographics, and then they can use that to learn how people respond. Then they start creating patterns for people to respond to. And they keep it up, creating familiar patterns, over and over. Much like advertising in Facebook during an election.

I know a guy. When he wants to read something on his phone he has to take of his glasses. He then puts his phone 15 millimeter from his eyes to read. First time I saw that shit I couldnt stop laughing for about 10 minutes
