This wasn't satisfying at all! If anything, I'm more discontent than I've ever been.

@OP I'm kind of disappointed. I was expecting...

I was sure this was gonna end up making a swastika

Expected dickbutt, or the Spanish Inquisition... strangely disappointed.

Worst pathfinding algorithm ever

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

It's not path finding, it's flood fill.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't know about that. It simultaneously checks every branch in a path instead of one at a time.

What I was going to say. It might be the best.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It's a flood fill, it's not finding any path. It's basically just looking at the the last painted pixel and testing whether or not to paint

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

the pixels around it.

At the end, I expected it to at least prune all failed paths to reveal the solution.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, it's not path finding.... It's a flood fill... It doesn't know the path(s). It literally just colors the pixel next to it if different
