I'd like to just unleash her into a crowd of MAGA and watch her totally wreck their shit.

See, with all the evidence in the Epstein files, how exactly can she "Clear his name."
We have documented evidence, vs one child molesting harlotte.

"And someone asked me yesterday, 'What are we supposed to when they're so powerful that they're going to get away with the most heinous shit [that] you can possibly imagine?'"

Thinking for 0.001 seconds about extrajudicial measures to bypass impotent and systematically corrupt courts:

This video format needs to go away. Or maybe it'd be better not to get insta/tiktok/whatever else reuploaded into imgur.

Pornography outrage but cringe cursor to the max. Maybe it's a generational thing but this person has strong dishonest and drama vibe to me. Not saying what she denounces isn't revolting but the messenger doesn't inspire confidence or honesty, more like she's in it for the internet points.

People are already indifferent to a genocide on the poor via climate change. If you suddenly expect them to do something then you will be disappointed.

Will again write strongly worded letters.

I agree with everything except they need to be in jail. They all end up in club fed and jail is not like it is for the poor instead they need h un g in the streets infront of their friends as an example that we will not except it and there will be consequences.

When you act like someone has power, the power they have comes (in part) from you

Holy shit, I'm suddenly super afraid of the working class of America! Please don't let them realize they can stop all of this by working together!

Quint pro quo…

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

She says 'quid pro quo' but the subtitles AI decided that the word 'quint' (you know, as in a series of five cards in the totally a card game piquet, or an uncommon name for an uncommon type of fire engine-truck combo, or just the number 5 somehow) was the best word to put there.

When people talk about AI hallucinations it's not even this- this is actually it working correctly and getting it wrong.

6 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Which, to be fair, is exactly the kind of mistake a human might make if they’re unfamiliar with the phrase being spoken.

Of course, folks unfamiliar with a common phrase likely wouldn’t end up in a subtitle transcription job, so there is some room for improvement in the management department.

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It might, but to go to the even less common word Quint is a truly AI thing- the only exception I can think of would be for a speaker of another language new to english (so not having encountered the idiom, and not having worked in any space where it might come up in a legal context) that had it as an example uncommon word. That wouldn't be an uncommon choice for subtitling if they were already doing subtitles for another language but could also do english, they might simply be asked to do both.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Or they got the “maintains a massive vocabulary without regard for what others consider to be common” flavor of neurodivergence.

That’s a fun one, and yes, such people do now get accused of being AI.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nah, such people would already know the etymology of 'quid pro quo' and are more likely to misspell it with an archaic version or something than swap quid ('something') for quint ('five') which is ridiculous.

What do you do? ***VOTE!!!!!**** Stop letting the fascist pedophiles be in charge of everything!

You had your chance in 2016. You had your chance in 2024. But you COULDN'T FACE LETTING THE WOMAN WIN!! You COULDN'T STAND UP TO VOTE FOR A DEMOCRAT!! You just let yourself be the tool of fascist pedophiles.

6 months ago | Likes 102 Dislikes 10

They didn't lose because they are women, they lost because they refused to appeal to the left, the block who should have been fired up to vote for them, they lost because they are, at best, centre right conservatives.
It is their fault for not doing enough to win votes.

Until America fully comes to terms with that and stops scolding the left for not voting for candidates who didn't even want their votes, this will keep on happening.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Sure. Vote. But when that doesn’t change anything, remember what does.

6 months ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 3

In 2024 the election was stolen. Much like the midterms will be this year. I'm still gonna attempt to vote, but Trump is going to do everything in his power to steal it.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, you're right in that this was last relevant in 2016 with Hillary. Your only option as a nation now is atonement as far as the world is concerned (long past is being entertained as a serious country ever again) and this would need to minimally begin with the execution of Trump, his entire administration and the various fascist enablers involved (e.g, Musk). If you think the spineless, complicit Democrats are going to help then you may aswell add yourself to the pile.

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Lmfao the voters picked Hillary, the system picked trump. There's not a god damn thing we can do about it, and pretending otherwise just makes sure more like him win

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I'm going to go vote today!

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Are you living in fairy land? Did you just not hear about what happened on January 6th??? You think they're going to go QUIETLY if they lose??????

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

We're past voting. Voting doesn't fix this. Elected Democrats have consistently only done the bare minimum (or less) to hold this administration accountable. By all means, vote in every election you can (you should have been doing so the whole time anyway), but please recognize that when Newsom or Harris or Kelly or Buttigieg or whatever establishment Liberal runs in 2028, they will not fix this on their own. Mass protesting and organized striking our only legitimate options now.

6 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Voting is ONE tool on the belt and one we should still be using. It will not do the job on its own, but why cede ground where we dont need to

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Right...that's exactly what I said.

They think, given how much root they've let the fascists take, that they'll have meaningful elections.

ICE will be manning every voting location in November and onward to deter dissent.

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Voting alone is unlikely to solve the problem. Refusing to use the tool of voting only helps the opposition.

6 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Hey, look, I know you think you are making an amazing point. But you just aren't. And here's why. 1. Hillary won the popular vote. The voters wanted her to win. So telling us we were complacent is bullshit. 2. The Clinton's have ties to epstein and Maxwell. And they support the system that makes us all jokes to politicians. 3. Acting like an asshole is not going to get people to vote. 4. With where a lot of people live, their vote doesn't count. I can vote until I'm blue in the face. But the

6 months ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 8

90 million idiots didn’t show up to vote in the last election. So you can backpedal and whatabout all you like but those fuckers are culpable.

And given your defensiveness, I presume you’re one of them

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Average iq around here is about 10 below the person's age. Unless you can convince all the extraordinarily stupid people around me to vote differently, my vote still went to trump, even though I voted for Hillary.

All of that said, I still vote, even though I know it means nothing, and never will. But people like you, who do not really understand the system and yet rant and rave against the people who are stuck inside it, make me not want to vote. Because you piss me off. Stop spouting idiocy

6 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 5

On top of all this, Noem just made a thinly veiled statement implying the GOP will be putting their thumb on the scale in the midterms. Like they always do. If you plan on playing by the rules when your opponent is cheating 9 ways to Sunday, you've already lost.

6 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Amen. These "just vote" people really do not understand what is really happening

6 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You say it means nothing, but if you voted for Biden in 2020, it meant a hell of a lot to the asylum seekers I regularly drive to their hearings. We stopped getting harassed on route by ICE and they even dared to feel hope that they'd be treated fairly by the system.

That's what made 2024 all the more fucking horrific.

To *you* it may not mean much, but there are tons of vulnerable minorities for whom it means everything.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

No, my vote still meant nothing. Zilch. Nada. You know why? I voted Biden. Even though he was just as much of a shit stain as Trump and it hurt my heart to do so. BUT! I live in Alabama. That means that my vote went to Trump. Because Alabama gave all of their ec votes to trump. It didn't matter who I voted for. It will never matter who I vote for. There are 1,462,616 brain dead people here who voted for the orange disaster. And they will not change

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The popular vote matters more than you think. Part of the reason those asylum seekers felt better and safer is because Biden won the popular vote by so much. Even back in 2016, when Trump won and things started getting real shitty for them, the fact that he lost the popular vote let them think that the majority of the US was still on their side.

So, to vulnerable minorities, your vote meant a lot.

And no, Biden was nowhere near the shit stain Trump is. Not even close. That's privilege talking.

I'm going to get downvoted for this, but so be it. The curiosity in me is too much. I like the stuff she talks about, and the message and moral outrage are good...but why does she look a few lip injections away from maga face? Every new clip I see, she's a little more shiny and her forehead, chin, and cheeks a little more pronounced. I'm not trying to tear her down, detract from the message, or anything like that, I am *genuinely* curious.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The answer is probably just that she likes the way it looks, and consequently, the way that it makes her feel. That appearance may not appeal to you, it may even appear strange, or not 'traditionally' beautiful, but her appearance is a deliberate choice. In the same way that choosing a hairstyle, growing a beard, or choosing a particular cut or type of clothing is a way of choosing how you move in the world, the way she looks is part of her choice. On a side note, I clicked on your profile as /1

I was suspicious of your comment and wanted to see if you were a troll (in which case I’d downvote and continue on my way), but I saw your other comments and I’m pretty sure you were asking your question in good faith, so I wanted to give an answer (at least from my perspective). Also I saw your post about your puppy at Xmas - I sincerely hope he’s doing much better now 2/2

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Definitely intended in good faith, purely in curiosity. I can accept "She just likes it," but was also confused how similar it looked to maga face and everyone just...rolled with it while fine mocking others. As for my pup, he's very slowly on the mend lately, thanks for asking. The doctors put him on chemo for his mystery affliction. I assume it's helping? Lately, he can at least wiggle his legs and mostly use his front ones, albeit with low coordination. Hoping to get him a wheelchair soon.

It could be that, aside from the high cheekbones, her overall aesthetic is different enough from MAGA face that people differentiate the two? Or it could be that people from both sides of the political spectrum are susceptible to demonizing the physical features of those on the other side, while lionizing their own. At any rate, I'm glad to hear your pup is doing better and I hope he continues to improve. If you ever do a follow-up post, please tag me!

Nothing post-worthy, so just coming back here. He's gotten a bit more muscle about him lately and, whether from recovery or maybe Spring weather, has a little more energy as well. Still not able to walk, but his body is at least returning to normal?
