Loop is pretty good but slow. You can go into the ini files and change the game speed. Crank it up and you can do a run in 10 minutes

I've been loving Curse of the Dead Gods. Perfectly challenging and with enough content and run variety to warrant dozens of runs.

Enjoying loop a good bit, and I know there's a lot of depth in it, but I worry the gameplay loop is gonna get repetitive fairly quick.

The problem is that the game is poorly tuned. Some builds are an instant win whereas others are super RNG dependent. Winning sucks when 1/2

It's easy. Like the game handed you a free win. A good Roguelite wins feel earned, like Hades. And Rogue in LH is so RNG dependent.

Yeah you'd think but it's fairly deep once you understand the combos with the tiles. That's a game itself.
