Fuck you Fetterman, you GOP flavored shitstain.

They are dusting of Hilary - they have absolutely no self awareness.

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This honestly never occurred to me.

6 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Jesus would probably have really liked Mamdani.

6 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He's a fucking traitor to everyone who voted for him. Fucking worthless trash, the whole lot of them.

1 week ago | Likes 78 Dislikes 3

His family must despise him or someone would have had him committed for medical care, both physical and mental. He's clearly not well and should be receiving care 24/7 for as long as it takes.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Fetterman is a joke. He may as well just put the (R) next to his name for the number of times his votes aligned with the fascists.

1 week ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 2

I bet you if the Dems manage to snatch just enough seats to create an even Senate split, Fetterman will flip parties just to ensure the GOP keeps Senate control.

6 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Look, he had a major stroke, became severely brain damaged, and now he's conservative. Brain damage equals right-wing extremism.

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fetterman is yet another example of how brain damage makes you conservative

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

fetterman's a dickknuckle.

1 week ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 3

Can someone explain to me why he isn't recalled?

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There isn't a process for it, other than the 2nd amendment

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well that's a pretty good explanation. I'm sure there are reasons you can't recall federal officials, but they seem less and less important by the day.

6 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The people who would be subject to a recall are the same ones who would have to make it possible.

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

They just say they mean it in a different way. "True Centerism has never been tried style" argument.

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

...and then behind closed doors they'll angrily lament the fickle, ignorant, childish voters who won't let them publicly act like Fetterman ("He's so brave!!1!")

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

DSA and liberal Democrats need to get their act together and field a single viable alternative to Fetterman. Send him a message. They might split the vote and let the GOP win, but either way he’s not going back to DC.

6 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Technically, the GOP already won

6 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, liberals can’t win if they don’t run.

6 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There will be a primary for Fetterman's seat in 2028. The DSA is already working on it, I can promise you that. The liberals seem to be too busy denouncing Muslims, Socialists and Medicare for all to do anything positive. So I'm expecting a strong showing for Socialists in PA in two years time.

6 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I thought he was supposed to face a primary this year.

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, it's 2028.

6 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That's the problem with the Democratic establishment. They're centrists in a world where there is no center. They're trying to be the halfway point between a fascist oligarchy and a free country and nobody's really sure what that would even be, nor does it sound like a good idea. The Dem base has always wanted universal healthcare, bodily autonomy, and an end to corruption. The party figures if they catch that car it's over, but folks like Mamdani keep showing that it works.

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Is this "establishment" in the room with us right now? It always weirds me out when people talk about conspiracy theory stuff like this like it's real. Like...lizard people don't rule the world, you know that right? The Democrat party is made up of its members and its politicians are the people who won a majority of the votes in the Dem primaries. That's it. There's no secret cabal running things. Mamdani's win plus all the others this year put that nonsense to bed.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

Miss me with that conspiracy bullshit. Dem party leadership is clearly much more conservative than the base. The party leadership promotes and funds more conservative candidates all the time. If a progressive candidate is too undeniably better they will still win, but the party puts its thumb on the scale. That's how Hillary got the nom in 2016 even though Bernie was a better candidate. A lot of it is AIPAC alignment, but there's also a corporatist element. It's just politics.

Hillary won in 2016 because she got more votes. Miss me with your literal Russian disinfo designed to disenfranchise voters bullshit dude. :/ https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3443916

Fetterman is setting himself up to be the next Sinema or Joe Manchin. Democrats will have to go thru him if they somehow take power. He wants to be a king maker, he needs to be forcibly retired for health reasons, because he is fucking crazy/brain damaged as shit.

1 week ago | Likes 140 Dislikes 6

Mitch first

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What are you smoking? 😂

He'd clearly rather be doing anything else.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This isn’t true. He’s not setting himself up for anything because his stroke robbed him of any ability to plan ahead. He does whatever that weird Israeli guy that showed up out of nowhere and became his handler tells him to do. There’s no master plan behind Fetterman or Trump.

6 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He's setting himself up to do a talk show on Fox or something of that ilk. Lots of money. No work.

1 week ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 1

Dude can barely string two thoughts together in interviews. Doubtful anyone is looking at him to do a talk show.

6 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That means he'd be perfect for someone like Fox or OAN or Newsmax.

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not gonna happen, his constituents hate him.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Retired or chosen as the next Health secretary.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

He *wants* to be the next Manchin, but he's gonna end up the next Sinema. Manchin's trick was being in a state that's heavily R, so the "moderate" republicans would toss him a few pity votes, and he easily swept the dem and independent votes even though he was basically a republican in all but name. Fetterman's state is way more like Sinema's in terms of demographics (and of approval ratings), and she ended up so hated she didn't even bother to run for reelection.

Republicans don't have much in the way of traitors to their party, I expect because their side slings death threats more often, and has acted on political violence more often.

Just an observation.

1 week ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Their side also love following orders

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

depends on how you look at it, i think. there were some people that stood against trump and lost in primaries (massie, flake, etc.), and while most nonrepublicans wouldn't call the gaetz/mgt crew traitors because of how far right they were, they caused plenty of chaos in the house by refusing to vote along the party line

i think the threat of trump throwing his (massive) weight in with people's primary opponents does a lot to keep republicans in line now

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

When is he up for a primary? Cant be too long now.

1 week ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

He was supposed to be up this year. The party canceled it, presumably because they knew he’d lose.

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Two years I think someone said before

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

2028, sadly.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

2028 according to a very quick internet search.

1 week ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

No recall there either. Bummer.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Fetterman is a POS, people trying to make the DNC a mirror image of him are right wing propagandists.

1 week ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

There are "centrist democrats" are the blue dogs, you know, 10 people in the house out of 214. Lets see so its less than 5% of the sitting member democratic party in the house. So when you make it seem like its the majority, you're just helping the GOP. Although, I can see how this was me making a little assumption its just quite annoying seeing the whole "the dnc doesn't support mamdani or progressives" when you use reality and not fantasy you see how wrong that is.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

yeah but...my problem with the DNC is they haven't even censured him so it makes them seem complicit, should be threatening expulsion by now

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

If they do that, he'll just cross the aisle, either literally or every time he votes. They still get his vote some of the time, which in politics is better than none of the time. If they get a majority in November and no longer need him at all, ever, then I expect the party will go after him.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Right before the elections they should stir this up? Have the entire media focus being on division within the DNC, change the metrics from what trumps done to that shit. I mean, I get it and do agree (unless its happened and we both don't know, that happens alot on this site) there should be pushback internally not necessarily made fully public. I'm just tired of the narratives created to help the fascists being pushed here, the DNC isn't represented by fetterman.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

he's the outlier, the sinema (not even a manchin, that guy was more legit... which isn't a lot). I hate who he is and what he's done but he's still the person they chose to elect as well, so respecting that is a thing (like how people have to respect Mamdani was the choice of the NY'ers). Of COURSE context is needed, he did a heel turn (kinda) and people didn't know or excused away his diehard love for israel prior.

integrity matters, its no wonder so many people dont vote in the US. The end justifies the means is not a moral path

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Integrity turns into fake bullshit when the outcome is mass suffering and shit. If you think sticking to integrity even if it results in not taking the house.... I mean. Like.... thats not good you get that right? That would be WAY WORSE than fetterman still being in office. You get that right?

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You're absolutely right about integrity matters. Integrity helped gaza become a graveyard, go integrity. Integrity is leading the USA into fascism, go integrity. There's logical things that need to happen, we have an unedcuated electorate. Just the fact news articles are saying "how would trump pay the 5k checks" means MILLIONS of Americans will believe thats true now. We can have integrity, in the face of the most destructive forces in the world being led by fascists... we can have nuance and

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

win elections so we can stop this.
