Been a fan of pro wrestling since I was very small, and always preferred heels. I gravitate more to villainy, I think.
HouseTonyStark
Wow, fuck that guy.
DoseOfScience
Protagonist vs hero vs good guy, learn the difference people! Still, I tend to pro villain in horror movies because of stupid MCs.
EzekielsRage
Please tell me you watch The Venture Brothers, I can't properly reference the episode that pertains to your comment.
jackieisnotmyname
If the hero gets on my nerves i root for the other guy
PeopleSeemToHaveLongNamesOnImgur
This is why I wanted Slade to defeat Oliver on Arrow. Queen is such a whiner.

SilentInSUB
I always cheer for the villain. They're usually more interesting to me.
Camelspotting
They're usually really dumb though, it's pretty annoying.
Well the mistakes they make are, which is def annoying
DrIvoRobotnik
I had this problem watching Diamond is Unbreakable. Mass-murdering, woman-dismembering villain, but his life outside that is so relatable.
ChloePrice
Depends. A lot of villains tend to have no believable or any motive at all. They're just evil. That sucks. Baddies like Heisenberg are great
DaggersNscarS
Some men just want to watch the world burn.
St0plight
Honestly whenever there's an obvious underdog faction that will win I go for the villain if they are cool
I love this scene so much because it's honestly the first time we see vader doing badass evil stuff in the movies post vader transformation
I mean yea, he killed Ben, but he comes back later fully articulate. Then there's Antilles, but nobody really cares to mention him later.
imophalblue
"The Sound of Music" is the only film that had me cheering on the Nazis.

hero is always defined by how strong are the villains. case and point Age of Ultron
Iwillhaveoneofeverything
wait in your example is Ultron the strong ex. of a villain or a weak one?
Cause totally correct cause movie memory weak, but I found Ultron strong but not very compelling as a villian

How so?
He literally killed everyone in the Marvel universe. Just for kicks.

Anti-hero*
Anti-Heros don't kill kids/women. Even Punisher had limits.
Shit I didn't know he killed women and children. Do you know source?
[deleted]
I've read it before, but I mustve glanced over him killing women and children. Also idk if DKtMU is technically canon?

That's the beauty of game of thrones, there is no hero/villain except for Ramsey and joffrey

This is bullshit, people get mad at me for spoilers for things that are 5+ years old on this site. it'll be interesting to see her change
mollyisthenameofmybicycle
Her love for them was her one redeeming quality, but she basically caused Tommen's death and is beyond my empathy at this point.
Wastyvez
Read A Feast For Crows and you'll change your mind about Cersei. Let's just say they made her seem a bit more sympathetic in the series.
I've read every book.
But I get your point.

Tom hardys Bane was one of my all time favorite villains.

I like to believe he's a grown up Kenny from South Park.

Inglorious Bastards. Christoph Waltz so good at being bad.

I watched the new Alien movie and fifteen minutes in I hoped they all died horribly. They were so stupid it hurt.....

You're missing out, then.
It's far better than the title implies.

Indeed. Nathan Fillion, Neil Patrick Harris, Felicia Day and Simon Helberg. Plus Joss, Zack and Jed Whedon. And Bad Horse
I actually avoided it for a few weeks after it was released because the title was dumb. Big mistake.

Cipher wins. Hands down. Zaheer can blow air and fly? Bill can manipulate reality to his whim.
I mean they're both great villians in different ways
Oh absolutely, I adore zaheer more than bill tbh, but in a fight bill would win in an instant lol
Bill can, with a snap of his fingers, rearrange the functions of Zaheer's face holes
AnActualTsundere
Yup. Dexter. Or Yagami Light.
Also in both these shows the "bad guy" is the protagonist.
Honestly never empathised with Yagami Light. He went from obnoxious honour student to psychopath with god-complex way too fast.
True. But I think that we all sometimes think that the world is just wrong. And his intentions were good at first.. understandable at least.
I will always comment on how AWESOME Zaheer is whenever he comes up. My absolute favorite part of the entire LoK series.
