Borderlands (first one) and SimCity 2000 have been fun and I miss each, and I'm starting to enjoy going for walks or bike rides again. Small progress is still progress and finding renewed interest in life-long hobbies is progress.

Hell yeah! I've recently gone back to play older original xbox games and lemme tell ya, that's where the magic is.

Recent studies have shown that even a 10-20 minute walk can give you a noticeable increase in life expectancy :)

Also, SC2000, SC3000 and SC4 are all on GOG if you want to upgrade your experience

Excellent, I also miss simcity. Did any aliens invade your city?

Not yet, I'm not sure what triggers that.

I have made a pact with myself to ride my bike as many hours as I game. Mission failed.

That’s nothing I lost my job and went home and bought starfield. 100 hours in 7 days cause, fck it why not

In raw numbers, perhaps. But I was trying to share my progress towards breaking out of the unhealthy habits that a depressed person can find themselves in when they start giving up. I don't think it's nothing, I'm happy to have done something productive rather than allowing myself to continue poor behaviors and habits.

I broke out of the unhealthy habits and then fell back in. It doesn’t get easier.

Fuck yeah, amusing and wholesome activities that make you happy and feeling alive!

Don’t forget to wear hats and sunscreen.

The good news is, I have all new skin on the top of my head!

This is good advice, I should try to figure out what type of hat I like and reward myself with one.

Does time at work qualify as outside? If so then I am doing good

Excellent. If you enjoy SimCity 2000 you might also enjoy Cities Skylines.

No money for it right now, but I'll keep it in mind for the summer sale. Thanks for the suggestion.

The first one, not the second.

Ooo borderlands would be fun to jump into again

I started Lilith, it's been a while since I played but it's fun so far.

I played BL4 when it came out, but something about the magic got lost. Might reinstall BL1 or 2

BL4's story was just so boring and forgetful. I've played it twice and couldn't tell you what it was about. Granted it was still an improvement over 3.

Borderlands one? Jeez, you can't even jump lol. I spent most my time in 3, despite everyone hating the annoying villain twins. I didn't mind them that much.

Eh, it's familiar. I haven't been keeping up with modern games the past few years and currently I have no money available for newer games. That I'm doing anything I used to enjoy is pretty cool IMO.

Ironically, my friend talked me into buying borderlands 4 the day after I made this comment. So far it's ok. Overpriced. $50 for the base game. There's 3 dlc's in the last year that should have been the base game and cost an extra $100. That and the absolute dumpster of a move makes me sad for the franchise. The pre serial is in my top 5 games of all time, and now it's just a giant money grab.
