Senate Democrats just refused to pay for Trump's war.

Congress has passed a defense bill every year since 1961. The streak survived Vietnam, both wars in Iraq, and every shutdown fight since. On Tuesday the Senate blocked this year's bill rather than hand over $1.15 trillion for a war Congress never authorized. Four senators missed the vote, and the bill fails even if all four show up and vote for it.

The war they wouldn't fund changes shape by the day. Trump announced a 20% toll on cargo passing through the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, then killed his plan Tuesday after Gulf leaders called to object. Now he promises that next week gets "really bad," with strikes on Iran's bridges and power plants if Tehran doesn't cut a deal.

#15 = removing all doubt that this was a setup.

Thank you!

The Sunshine Protection Act needs to die in committee. DST needs to be abolished, not made permanent.

Thank you for your service.

#6 is how I know he's going to bunker up in DC after he loses the elections.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Why pick permanent DST? It will be too dark in the winter as children are going to school. Remember the increase in fatalities when Nixon changed to DST to save energy? Then, he made it worse by adding another hour!

#6 are they planning on Julius Caesar'ing him? Can we just skip to the knifey part?

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

13. If you don't like changing your clocks, you can choose to just not do Daylight Saving Time. Making it "permanent" is so stupid. Let's just always be out of alignment with the sun, huh?

Changing the clocks results in a lot of medical emergencies. So it’s profit to them and culling the old/unfit.

#5 They're piling 'em on down here. https://www.texastribune.org/2026/06/08/texas-regulation-data-centers-electricity-power-water/ . There's an address link to see what is operating/planned near you in Texas.

So Lindsay Graham's seat just goes to next of kin then? Also I'm pretty sure I heard daylight savings was voted on like 10 years ago, why did it take so long?

2 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

From what I remember it didn’t make it through the senate (or maybe the house idk) last time on disagreements over keeping standard time or savings time.

#15 FBI searching the home of a dead Senator that's is on certain committees with access to secret material is normal procedure.

2 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

#12 why is this possible?

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

State law. There are only four states where the governor does not select a replacement for a senator that dies while in office (Wisconsin, Kentucky, Rhode Island, North Dakota).

Who chose her?

We're already done with the 20% mafia fee? I can't keep up.

Even big kitties like water!

Tigers, jaguars, jaguarundis and fishing cats are the only felids who truly love the water and swim for fun and relaxation. Several other species will cross water if they have to, but they don't enjoy it one bit

This rare phenomenon in tigers is known as Blep-paddling.

#15 If donnie says it is a waste of time investigating something you know he had a hand in fowl play regarding it.

2 weeks ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 0

The two things we know for absolute certain about Emperor Shit-for-brains is a) every single thing he accuses anyone of is something he did himself and b) whatever he tells you is nothing is something important and vice versa

2 weeks ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

EXACLY. I suspected zero foul play until this lying liar said something.

2 weeks ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

ExacTly. I know how to spell, just not how to type, apparently.

3. we do all know he never made an accusation that wasn’t something he himself is doing/has done, yes? Strap the fuck in.

2 weeks ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

This is a very fucking serious accusation he's going to make, with NO actual real proof behind it, except for his cronies saying "yeah, yeah, totally true".

All that to setup "lies, they cheated!" In every race they'll lose in november.

2 weeks ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

whelp you think there’s gonna be races in November so you’re both more optimistic than I am and not exactly picking up what i’m putting down but ok.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Yeah, I think they realize they don't have the people on their side enough to ACTUALLY try and 'cancel' the elections, that might finally bring enough Americans into the idea that, hey, these guys are up to no good!
But if you just start claiming "Oooh, They are messing with the voting machines! You can't trust election results!" It'll all be ambiguous enough for people to stay sitting on their fat asses, not knowing what to actually do.
Fascists gonna fascist!

No.6 is how I know they're never planning to concede the white house

And nothing will happen when he refuses to leave…

2 weeks ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 4

Doesn't matter what he thinks. Nobody has ever held power forever by military might alone. Why? You need at the very least people to be content to not rise up against those in power. Quick question, do you know anyone that is content atm? Do you know anyone who thinks the current economic situation in the US is sustainable? Besides the very rich, I doubt you know anyone that is happy with their situation. Even my MAGA parents are struggling & cutting back & they voted for this shit.

2 weeks ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 3

They're not content, but they are complacent. They won't fight back until they have nothing left to fight for.

But they have to be unhappy enough to violently revolt which I don't think modern Americans are capable of. We're too comfortable. For now.

So where is this rising up you speak of?
