Oh man, RIP collarbone and shoulder, that had to hurt. Always check your quick releases, axles, brakes and other connections after setting up wheels or trainers.
The people in #8 need to calm down. Bring the tray close to the edge. Use the spatula to lift the fallen pie enough to slide the tray under. Remove the tray from the oven and enjoy.
Or the owner of said pet saw the cat doing the "launch calculations" for the hoop, took out their camera because the cat was about to do something stupid, and filmed them making a fool of themselves.
Without any other context, it's impossible to know for sure.
In small European apartments you have to stack appliances. Almost everything is front-loading for this reason. Washers and dryers are usually stacked in the bathroom, but depending on how tiny your bathroom is the kitchen might be the only place where you can connect a washer.
Guys if you find your cat stuck like that, don't film, IMMEDIATELY get them out. Blood supply being cut off by the net is no joke at all, plus risk of muscle/tendon damage, broken bones... jesus christ.
They absolutely can. Cat tries to leap for it from the table on the left, manages to grab on to the far side of the rim with the front paws but the rear paws slip or overshoot, and suddenly the cat's butt is slipping into the hoop. A little frantic scrambling and you can easily get tied up in the net.
I'm not saying that's automatically what happened here, but it's entirely plausible.
I'm not the one making assumptions about a cat in a net and it's general treatment. People don't usually post pictures of their pets suffering. You went ahead and chose that narrative. I'm seeing more positivity in people than you do.
People do, though, because they think it's cute or hilarious without considering the reality of it being distressing or painful. Not everyone, not every time, but they do quite a lot.
Right? I don't know how someone could see that and their first thought at the pet's fear/pain is "haha film." (And before anyone thinks I'm overreacting--I worked wildlife rescue for a short stint and animals can absolutely lose limbs from being trapped like this for a few hours.)

Placing a cat in a basketball hoop for the internet points is not my idea of a fun video. I know, I know... I will be downvoted but that is ok.
AnonOmis1000
Yes because cats are not know for their jumping/climbing abilities, or getting stuck in places /s

Pretty sure the first one is a bit of animal abuse.

You obviously don't see many of the videos here with people putting their animals in danger or causing them distress for internet points.

I believe the cat could have gotten themself in that situation no problem. But they should be helping right away, not filming

#8 is that oven conjoined to a washing machine? what the actual fuck?

why you should never bake pizza when drunk at 2 am. Just order in.

Where are you that you can order in a pizza at 2 am?

These guys would probably fuck that up as well.

Why… why wouldn’t the guy with the tray not just slide the tray under the pizza? This stressed me out a lot.

this. put down the fucking camera you fucking asshat, that is extremely painful for the cat.

The cat was in the hoop butt first. Cats do not jump that high butt first. This is obviously intentional animal abuse for internet points. :(

"People don't usually post pictures of their pets suffering" And yet...
creamyonions
People do, though, because they think it's cute or hilarious without considering the reality of it being distressing or painful. Not everyone, not every time, but they do quite a lot.
mrleemur
Not only that, their pet is clearly distressed, is your first instinct not to help it?? If it’s not, you shouldn’t have a pet.
godofhorizons
It’s probably also in a significant amount of pain
Feralkyn

CNChapeL
This being the internet, my first though was: the dumbass filming put their cat in there themselves for internet points.
dlbgaw
Sadly, that's my thought, too. Unless the cat climbed up to get in that position, I don't see that happening.
