The sad truth: we all know the church has massive amounts of money, that the prophet is listed as CEO, and that they own a lot of property. People are not going to leave b/c of this.

This is what I keep telling people. We have made people so angry by letting the extremists go do whatever they want that now everyone is going to pay for it. This is what separation of church and state is suppose to protect ALL parties from. Protect the non-religious from persecution by state-run religion and to protect the religious from state-run non-religious. (That pretty much just means don't outlaw my religion, not how it is used by extremists)

My family, super Mormon. We were camping and I was having a coffee, then my 8 yr old cousin was having a CAFFEINATED soda said to me, "ew, coffee is bad for you". I told him, "it's actually shown to be good for your liver and is much better for you than that soda you're drinking". My uncle, his dad, "Hey, don't tell him that!". I was appalled to be honest.
