That’s how my doggo eats. Normally a ball of energy. But lays like this when she eats.

He's not lazy, he's just chilling
WellIfIHaveTo
It feels like Gavin is the only possible name for this dog.
Cottonballs12

Engineerguy99
My name is Gavin, I've. Never heard of a dog called Gavin before lol
AgnesMcGillicuddy
And dumb as a box of rocks. My 14 year old greyhound has learned one command: get in your bed, Tupi!
LZorro
Admit it, you'd do the same if you could.
iDidNotShaveMyBallsForThis
My spirit animal does exist.
Dorsk84
Lazy AF, till a small furry animal appears?
byby357
This doge is a whole mood...
pickeringjjj365
*Morning after seven Jägerbombs and a tequila sunrise ‘for the road’*
Taium
Still too much effort. Can't someone just pour it into his mouth while he holds his mouth open?
keeperkate4
So pure. We love you, Gavin!
jayferTraveler
If I could only be Gavin
Yonkle
Work smart, not hard
gogo316gogo
He is Beautiful. We had two retired racing Greyhounds we rescued. One looked just like your Gavin. Ours was Hayden. God I miss them both

Brain freeze
Lovingimpaler
Greyhounds are 35 mile per hour couch potatoes.
DidYouKnowThatCashewsComeFromAFruit
I love when dogs have more human like names. My dogs name is Adam
CrazyViruss
You've found Gavin! I met someone in St. Denis who's desperately looking to find him..
EdwardEH
Those of us owned by sighthounds see no issue with this.

A Brindle Greyhound? Take my upvote! I love these sofa dwellers! Such a great pet.
Denamic
My lurcher sleeps in my bed more than I do
MultiFacets
Aaaawwwww. I know I'm biased, but I love brindled animals in all shapes and types.
DarkRedCape
GAVING??!! Oh Gavin, where are you Gavin? Gaviiiiiinnnn.... Gav... where are you..

Mockingbirb
He's licking the ice cream for 3 hours now, and still not finished!
RunThatIn
my uncles friend used to have a retired greyhound that did this. once a day he would run laps, and then lay for 23 hours doing nothing lol
Bancanadiannach
I have a greyhound, she does that but thinks she's a lap dog so sleeps on you. And god forbid you move!
putcleverusernamehere
Spoke to some greyhound rescue people, they referred to them as "world's fastest couch potatoes"
Sighered
Greyhounds are the chillest dogs going. I was surprised to learn that given they’re often racers. But off the track, they loaf hard
Longdogg
The term 40mph couch potatoes is no lie
blackfox1122
Very much considering getting one for that reason. But apparently greyhound puppies are actually insane, and extremely rare.
scholarmonkey
Get yourself a lurcher! They are the goodest boys. But, yes, insane as puppies. Ours leapt through a hedge & got stuck 4 ft off the ground
The puppies are batshit mental, would recommend looking for an ex racer
ZsanettC
There are plenty of retired racers ready for adoption. They’re usually between 2-4yrs old and come potty and crate trained.Highly recommend
I’d love to, but I have cats, so I can’t get one with high prey drive. Unfortunately, that’s almost all greyhounds, especially ex racers.
I have a retired racer and 4 cats. The adoption groups cat test them, it was a longer wait to find the right one but it worked out amazing
Also, they come muzzle trained so for the introduction he had to wear his muzzle but he was totally used to it.
EveryYellowMolecule
I run a greyhound adoption agency in Australia and numerous greyhounds i have rehomed live with cats, rabbits, lambs and many other animals.
Not true, many ex racers will live happily with cats
AssDewlap
Very not true! The rescues cat test them. I had rabbits but adopted two older low-prey drive greys who ignored them completely.
Cheese, on the other hand was unsafe from them in any location.
Sternfeuer
We have 2 Galgo Espanol. They were both used for hare-hunting. One does get along great with cats, the other will try to kill everything....
that moves, including smaller dogs. I guess it could be the same for racing greys, because all they know is the artificial hare.
