Vacuum with a bristle end to suction up dust. It's not much different than the gorgeous/impossibly intricate platers motifs or wainscoting or other decorative work that has lots of edges. Plus this looks possibly corporate or commercial space like and will be demoed in 5 or 10 years

"wainscoting" is a sadly underused word.

That's no moon.

Serious question, if I were to attempt this , what would be the best material to use .
Most products I can think of are made to dry quickly , need something that will stay open long enough to do the design . ?

.

Needs pepperoni.

Neat, but I’d need it to be a lot truer to the surface map of the actual moon.

I'm more impressed that he cut a perfect circle in the dry wall

A pic I took, for reference

Fake.

It needs a cat shelf.

It shone, pale as bone, as I stood there alone,
And I thought to myself how the moon
That night, cast its light, on my heart's true delight
And the reef where her body was strewn.

I think it's pretty cool, but the space nerd in me is bothered by the lighting. The whole moon should be illuminated, not just the edges.

The moon is a luminary: it's own light source. The reason it's only bright at the edges, it because someone is shining a flashdark (a cold, dark beam flash "light") at the center. Duh.

I think the edge light helps create an illusion of a sphere.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

That's true

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Programmable LEDs to mimic actual moon phases?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That would be awesome. But the centre should be illuminated aswell. Sunlight reflects off of the whole surface (assuming it's a full moon)

Could light up half of it to get the crecent effect. Would be more realistic.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Erm and it doesn't bother you that it's not an accurate moon?

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

That is not a moon.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, it's a nice moon

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Maybe it's a moon, not "The Moon".

Install it in the guest room, then add some alternate lights behind that'll sometimes trigger at night for a couple of seconds

Oh man.. You just reminded me of the early 2000's when I downloaded a program that'd run in the background and randomly jumpscare you at any time. Got my sister good with that shit!

About to get Spider-man, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and more experiences on the big screen thanks to mom, who took us to the cinemas! (Don't get me started about the games in that period!!)
