Imgur teaches me so damn much. I knew of William Hootkins because he was from Dallas. But what I did not know until I looked it up as a result of this post was Lee Harvey Oswald’s wife and their children lived with Hootkins’ high school Russian teacher, so Hootkins got caught up in the JFK investigation, and he graduated from the same high school as Tommy Lee Jones, one year behind him in the same drama group.

That makes him and mark hamill the only two actors that have been in both star wars and batman.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not quite. There is also actor Shane Rimmer, who starred in Star Wars, three Bond Films, Superman I, II & III, Dr. Strangelove and Batman Begins. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shane_Rimmer

At least it's his less creepy performances. I'm thinking of at least one where he was a greasy, upsetting pervert, and another where he was a greasy, upsetting corporate executive.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The Greasy Pervert was in Hardware and it shocked me when I found out how many Films he'd been in

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hardware was possible the best dystopian cyberpunk music video/movie an early 20-something could take a girl to...

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shame they had to rip off 2000AD to get it made. But it was still pretty good.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ive heard rumors that warehouse scene from Raiders is basically what inspired SCP and Warehouse 13.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I never knew Porkins was also Eckhardt

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

William Hootkins. He was also was the drunken monk in the Black Adder II episode Beer.

Bill Hootkins is mentioned in the Warren Report on the Kennedy assignation. Oswald's wife tutored him in Russian. Totally not making this up.

I still can't believe they actually named him Porkins. I mean come on

2 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

Wasn't his characters name in Indy Major Eaton also.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The character was supposed to have pig prosthetics, but they couldn't afford the makeup. Lucas is not a nuanced storyteller.

2 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

Isn’t he on something like the 9th version of starwars a new hope? How many more passes you wanna take George?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

wait till you learn about Elan Sel'Sabagno (Sleazebaggano), he was the guy who tried selling drugs to Obi-Wan drugs

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

When I saw "Star Wars" in the theater for the first time, the audience broke out laughing when his name was announced.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Well, there's a baddy called inVADER, and another called in inSIDIOUS.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Also mameLUKE Skywalker and HANdlebars Solo

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's a baddy called Vader and it's German for father... Which is what the story is about. George Lucas is an idiot.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bad fansplaining. Dutch Vader and German Vater are pronounced with a short A (as in "father"), not with a dipthong. Lucas thought of the centuries-old daddy plot twist after he had Leia kiss Luke. Then there's Greedo, Grievous, and again, Sidious. "Yeah, we're the bad guys".

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

STFU! He was Bullock?! I can't believe i never saw it before

2 years ago | Likes 229 Dislikes 3

I was today old that I learned Walter Goggins is in Shanghai Noon

He wasn't Bullock in name though.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

That neck looks like a comfy place for a poisonous dart

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In General Veers is the bad guy from the third Indiana Jones movie. The guy who said, “Lord Vader, the shield generator will be down in moment, you may start your landing.”

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He's also in Flash Gordon

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

AhhhhhhhhAhhhhhhh!

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

He was called "Eckhardt" in the movie, bit it definitely felt like the same character.

2 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 1

Nah, only similar looks in passing, because that's standard noir detective cop outfit. This guy was lazy and corrupt, nothing like Bullock

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe there have been other versions, I always thought Bullock was a hard nose, tough-guy cop, but never a dirty one. A difficult man to like, doesn't get along with anyone, but one of Gordon's top men because of his devotion to protecting people.

2 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Yep, that is the standard Bullock. A total fucking asshole but at the end of the day cares about doing the right thing.

He was also in Superman IV: The Quest For Peace.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

No one was in that movie because it did not ever exist.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I have to admit it's a terrible movie.

That suit is even more terrible than the movie itself. And that's really saying something.
