I’m not crying, you’re crying.

I read this while feeding my daughter and had to stifle laughter..... I had a traumatic birthing experience that resulted in an emergency c-section... there is a weird stigma around c-section births, I just wanted to say FICK THAT. Vaginal birth or cesarean birth, YOU ARE A FUCKING QUEEN.

You’re doing a great job as a parent.

Dear parent,

you’re reading this right now. Maybe browsing imgur is the first “you” moment you have had all day. You are doing a terrific job as a parent. And you are wonderful.

Go enjoy that treat you hid from your kids. Or a juice box.

Hubby found these while we sit in the quiet after football practice and bedtime just enjoying the silence.

It is the first "me" moment of the day! So, thank you. These all made me smile and laugh. As a new mom, I can totally relate!

i want to have kids just so i can have that snack bitch shirt!

As a parent, this is all 100% true. And totally worth it.

I needed this today, thank you.

This is why I got a puppy

7 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 9

Yes! Never have kids! Enjoy that puppy.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

Thank you so much for this <3

I, too, had a traumatic emergency c-section. You can go into the birthing room thinking whatever you want, but the baby makes the choices 1/

But our little girl is a healthy 3mo and cute as a button. PPD was rough, but she is worth all of it. Best choice ever. 2/

About to be a dad, thanks for the prep @op! And the reminder to never naked carry child on shoulders.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Congrats on being a dad soon!!!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thanks! I love hearing everyone’s horror stories, I feel like it’s prepping me for the worst.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My good friends daughter hissed at her the other day. I laughed so hard cuz I knew exactly which child did it without her telling me.

Kay is a sassy little weirdo that's for sure. On a diff occasion she screeched and her mom told her to settle down. Kay looked at her and >

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Replied with "hush". Again. I laughed my ass off.

I was ignoring the kid just now until she asked me to redraw a picture I did for her on her dry erase board that got smudged, so I fixed it.

I enjoyed this thoroughly. +1

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Fact: not all parents reading this are I fact doing a good job. Sorry. Please be good parents.

7 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 3

I wholeheartedly agree with this.I didn’t want to put a damper and add a shame on shitty parents caption. Be good people and be good parents

There's drama about having a c section? Luke what were you supposed to do just die luke it's 18-fuckinghundred?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

yeah, some moms will talk down to others because of it, they are dumb

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

it was his neighbor if i remember correctly, but it's been 30 years since i saw it

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As a stay at home dad, these apply to whomever is around the children most, minus the ones about the privates... my privates are just fine.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Re: c-section not making you a real mother - well excuse me, I preferred my wife and kid *not* both dying in childbirth! Fuck that.

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I've got a fucked up shoulder for life because they didn't identify that i should have been a csec soon enough and had to break it to fit.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yep. Caesareans save lives.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Children are a conundrum. They are the bane of your existence and they are the love of your life

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

easy, the ocean is just there

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm married with no kids and this isn't a good sell.

7 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 4

Kids are wonderfull and great but there is no good dell for them. They come with a lot of shit. But the cuddles, kisses and smiles, worth it

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

*also married w/no kids* This shit is the best! Sleeping in on Sunday morning!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You are in trouble if you think this was an attempt to get people to have children.

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

If you don’t think you want kids, don’t have them! It’s so easy not to have kids. No one cares whether you have them or not, except you.

7 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

We started getting not so subtle grandkid comments before we were even married. I am sick of smiling and noncommittal answers.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

.except folks who want to be grandparents or aunts/uncles - and they don't get a vote

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That's just downright false. There's no end to the people criticising your choice to not have children.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Actually may parents care. A lot. And won't shut up.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you want kids, that's great! If you don't want kids, there's great! You do you, boo

7 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

Exactly. Why the need to go on about not having kids for every post about how it’s not all sunshine and lollipops? I don’t get it.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can you give the talk to my parents? Cuz they need it.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

:( that sucks. Dress puppies and kittens in baby clothes? Change the subject whenever they get annoying?

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

C-section stigma? Wtf? Cord wrapped around my neck at birth. Was my mom meant to push me out strangled to death?!

7 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Keep in mind this comes from the same morons who take a naturopath's word as gospel but accuse family docs of "corruption".

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It still came outta you. What’s the difference? Shits private.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am now 4.5 months pregnant and got told "Don't have a c-section, it will be like not having a baby at all" Thing is, and this is TMI, I

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

have a tilted uterus, and there is a high probability I'm going to need a c-section, it wont make me any less of a mother.

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

My biggest mind set change was to call it a “cesarean birth” because it’s still a birth. Wishing you all the best with your little one xo

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you, and yah that's what my mother said. I just want him to be healthy in the end!

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love my daughter, being a dad has been the singular joy of my life. I’d suggest treating your kid like a person and not a responsibility.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's a person and a responsibility and that's not a bad thing (dad of two)

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Absolutely we have a responsibility but if you treat children like a chore and not a person you’re gonna have a bad time.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

100% agree!! You are amazing!

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

1. Why do people feel the need to comment about how they are never having kids? You never see comments like that on posts about pets.

7 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 5

2. Why are they so defensive when it comes to kids? I really don’t give a shit if/when/why folks have kids or not.Why MUST they say/type it?

7 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 5

Society has always presumed everyone wants kids. People feel they are abnormal for not wanting kids so they speak out looking for likeness.

7 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

I get that, but still. I would never comment on a post about trials of having a puppy with “yep, never having one of those!”

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

I really don't understand why you have a problem with people socializing on social media. Or should people only have conversations about 1

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Things YOU personally think are important? Just because you would never say it doesn't mean there's something wrong with saying it. 2/2

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

It's like when people feel they can tell you not to have kids when you are trying. Happened to me a lot Some people have to get their say in

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Probably because there aren't tons of people saying "Oh, I know you hate cats now, but you'll become a cat person once you get one!" /1

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

AND simultaneously trying to curse an innocent, unborn child to 18+ years being raised by people who never wanted kids in the first place.

Have not regretted mine nearly 20 years ago.

7 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

Me neither

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The earth is already overpopulated so yeah, good choice.

7 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

Do it! Too many dang people anyway.

7 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

i solved that by just being generally unlovable.

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

That's been working for me so far too but I'd rather not leave anything to chance. You don't need love to have sex

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good for you. Never have kids!

7 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 4

Should have had my husband do it two kids ago!
