I love Caerphilly castle, shame we get no snow down in Barry ever, despite it being so close!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Icy it's slippery there but she's approaching caerphilly so the chance of a fall is remoat.

Back in 2005 my college choir went to Wales for two weeks to sing. We only sing in Welsh. It was so much fun :)

Have fun storming the castle!

Actually not a single assault on Caerphilly castle ever made it through the gate you're looking at now

I love this country. The nigh incessant shitty weather makes the glorious few days we do have all the more special

Caerphilly cheese...In the summer I eat ripe tomatoes chives and a bit of lemon with Caerphilly

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's for keeping out the undesirables, the English.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

can't you just throw cheese at them

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Feeding them does not make them go away.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How do the Welsh eat their cheese. Caerphilly.

Thank you, was looking for this exact comment! Had a patient say this to me only yesterday and the serendipity makes me happy

A joke which ignores the Welsh pronunciation.

We have castles in the Americas too, built by the Toltecs and Olmecs and other indigenous peoples. Incredible how cultures evolve.

Caerphilly Castle! Best castle in Wales. I live like an hour away. Wrote an essay on that castle in university many moons ago.

I still think that Carew castle is better! History in Pembrokeshire as well is amazing.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ahhh, good ole cardiff train station... A place of trains that are always late and full of assholes (my experience)

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

Your experience is accurate

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure that's most UK train stations.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I take the train from Preston to Blackpool (kinda) and I can confirm. No I don't want to listen to Sophie aspin through a tinny speaker.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Oh Preston? I am relocating to rhe Warrington area next week. Coming from Belgium I must say UK has some old train stations.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, there's a lot of history around them. Most of them were built during the industrial revolution so lots of cool architectural features

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Technically there should be a 1-1 ratio of people on a train to assholes on the train. I don't want to meet someone without an asshole.
