In politic discourse, "fundamentally" means "fucking"

The funny thing is you claim we were against it because it was 'unwinnable'. No, we were against it because it was the wrong thing to do even if it was a terrible regime, which btw, is our fault for causing regime change in the first place.

How is this good for the United States of Israel?

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What a fucking embarrassment on the world stage.

1 month ago | Likes 240 Dislikes 0

You have been performing on that stage with your pants down to the knuckles for quite a while, so by now we all know what your pecker looks like.

1 month ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

0 Days without Trump being an international embarrassment on the world stage.

And by extension, all of the U.S. for allowing this lying, cheating, stealing, rapist, felon, racist, pedophile, fascist to be the president.

I mean he got elected. Twice. With all the baggage, convictions and evidence that he's nuts.

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Not sure if it helps, but that reputation was low enough already where this is seen as about what we'd expect.

1 month ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

But they world cup washing away the stains as usual

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's NO WAY that Trump can spin this any differently and look like a winner. He'll just look even more pathetic.

TRUMP and HEGSETH LOST... with the so-called "world supreme" US military...

Turns out might won't be right, if you don't have foresight.

He'll just lie and shit his pants and maga will eat it up

There are so many down stream effects of attacking Iran that were considered when past admins didn't do it. tRump decided to ignore 'em all

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No, Trump is too stupid to think past the here and now. He can't comprehend things like consequences or long term effects.

$300b is how much it costs for Iran to not release the files....

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am going to wager here that Iran getting the nuclear weapon will show Iran being more responsible for having such wmd than Israel. "But Israel haven't nuked nobody" yea, because they want the land for themselves.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And now we've all seen in living color just how Trump managed to bankrupt... 4 different casinos that he owned?

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It wasn't unwinnable. Just unwinnable the way they were going about it.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Correction: it's a cease fire memo with 60 days to come up with a detailed surrender agreement.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Morons.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was expecting him to use a different word than "fundamentally".

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now we send them nearly $1000 from every man, woman, and those that don't define as either to stop our OWN attack. What's the over-under on Israel relaunching missiles within the month?

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Republicans: NUHHH UHH! TRUMP AWESOME! (crying) Im gonna tell my dad on you and he is gonna beat you up! my dad used to be in the special forces and he can beat up your dad!

The US is a failed state.

I said this at the beginning of his second term and u got downvored to hell

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I don't like 'em either but that's not what a failed state is. It's failure to maintain the states monopoly on violence. Failed states look like Syria during the civil war, or the DRC or Somalia. The US is not those things

Failed majority
"First, I must confess that over the last few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice"-MLK Jr.

Yeah.... many of us are aware for many years now... we are just trying to survive day to day in this dystopian hellscape

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Not yet, but we’re well on our way. We might see actual country-wide unrest in a couple months once the gas crisis manifests in force. The response to that will help decide what our long-term prospects look like

What's even funnier is Trump thinks everything will just go back to normal.

Opposite Man at it again.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He gave Iran the keys to global domination. Just squeeze the world's petroleum jugular whenever they fucking feel like.

1 month ago | Likes 79 Dislikes 0

They probably won't feel like it if people don't bomb them and their school children. Relax.

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Doubly fun since he's anti-renewables. It could be a successful pivot away from international fossil dependancy, but nooooo

1 month ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Every single forward thinking nation has increased its plans for electrification and renewable energy. We now know that fossil fuels are too risky.

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It’ll be like the Barbery Pirates and the shores of Tripoli all over again!

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Honestly I hoe they do I bet countries will get serious about phasing out fossil fuels then.

1 month ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 1

I dunno about that. I feel it's far more likely they'd be willing to go to war against Iran rather than try to kick the fossil fuel habit.

1 month ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Iran literally just very publically proved that's not feasible... which, I guess considering how pigeon-brained conservative voters and politicians are across the globe, may not make a damn difference.

Art of the deal!!

It's what you clowns fucking get

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Maybe they should have read the Science of the Deal. Art is in the eye of the pedophile, apparently.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I suppose that IS the silver lining, the war IS over.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't forget, Dozy Don also drained our Strategic oil reserve also. He complained about Biden, but his is a drop in the bucket to what Doy Don's sucked out of it for stock profits to the oil companies.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Multi billion... That's a modest way of saying the dollar figure. It's nearly half a trillion dollars just in a payment. Easily over half a trillion if you include the cost of the war alongside the payments.
Don't worry though America, he'll slap a tariff on that oil and make Iran pay the government back. /S

Idk, who this guy is, but...
"That's why so many opposed this from the start." Then, why did pretty much every single Republican and like 4 Democrats vote to give him the authority and power to do so? Why didn't a single politician (except the obvious ones) do or say anything beforehand?

They are trying to flee from the ship before November. Don't let them.

I'm imagining the whole room is empty. Performance art for his constituents. None of them care. On either side.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can we please talk about why there are bot accounts posting politics on Imgur and who is paying for them?

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Right, there's is something going on with this. Look at there post history.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

There are MANY bot accounts posting about US politics on here. They showed up around the time BD took over Imgur, which I doubt is a coincidence. After years of a tiny minority on here pointing this out over and over again, imgurites are FINALLY realizing that yeah, we're getting political propaganda shoved down our throats. Now the relevant conversation ought to be about why this is, who is doing it, who is paying for it and how do we get rid of it. Can we PLEASE start talking about this??

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nobody seems to care. This just kept being upvoted. First we as a community need to be identifying these bots and downvoting them to hell like AI. I guess I need to go back to usersub newest like I used back im the old days. I agree though we need to talk about this as well. Why are there bots spewing left political ideology? Imgur sure does seem more and more of an echo chamber these days. There are more and more arguments on here about protest effectiveness and violence vs nonviolence.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Again, bots are posting, bots are commenting and bots are up/downvoting. That's how these propaganda posts get to FP and then people jump on the bandwagon thinking this is what most imgurites are aligned with here.
