#7 I know this kid is like 10 now, but remember when he is happy, it is YOU who is doing a good job, not the universe. Take credit. Being a parent is hard, and you are doing great!

#13 I think it's genius. Even with the small picture it makes an instant connection between the sign and the animals. It demands your attention very effectively.

#8 men can do the dumbest shit and still get praised.

And if it was a woman, you would think it would be perfectly fine and praiseworthy, I'm sure. Misanthropy is strong.

#5 I grew up five minutes from the ocean, and I currently live less than a mile from it. It will never stop amazing me.

I go to the beach several times a week! And I’m still awestruck at how absolutely beautiful my home is, and how incredibly lucky I am to live here and share this space with my fellow community members.

My home is breathtaking, and I am so appreciative and thankful that I get to experience it.

#15 I adopted my twins when they were 8. I got my house when they were 12. They are 18 now and I desperately want to keep the house so they always have a bed room and mom to come home to whenever, for anything, and for however long. I want them to know they have a home that they never have to leave.

But I can't find a job that will work with my disability and pay enough for me to keep the house. I hope I can do it.

#8, Museum. When my daughter was about four we took her to an art gallery and we did nothing but follow her around to see what pictures amazed her

I would routinely hold little siblings and family members up to pictures or flowers or really any display so they can see it and MAYBE touch it if it was baby safe for touching. They dont have to understand but I like to think they like to be included.

#7 my ex would sing or hum quietly to himself when he was happy and it was freaking adorable hearing it in my house, or driving in the car

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's what my youngest kid does, it's adorable. I hope it doesn't stop as they grow older.
