Of I was Biden as soon as the USSC said POTUS had immunity I would order seal teams to every republican congressman's home and the conservative judges across the nation and had our own night of broken glass but in this case it's the nazis being 'reallocated'.

Plus the whole problem that the documents are held by the judicial arm. The executive branch can't just determine that documents can or should be released under those circumstances, it needs the legislative arm to act - which they eventually did.

Thank you for providing specific reasons. I always used the "Ok, but what's stopping him from releasing it now?" but your argument is much better!

This is just objectively false. Google is free.

Anyone who had access to the Epstein files and chose not to leak them is a CORE player in it's cover-up.

And before someone says "but they'd get in trouble for leaking!", that's a motive, not an excuse. It means they decided that the negative repercussions for leaking would be a more preferable outcome to holding pedophile rapists accountable.

Agreed. I've seen variations of this and agree 100%: "If Bill Clinton is a pedophile, give him the death penalty. I'm totally cool with that. So, MAGA cucks, it's your turn. Now YOU say the same about Trump. I dare you. No? Still won't say it? You are in a pedo-worshipping cult."

Bill Burr trump's AG stated under oath that he never saw anything in the Epstein files that would implicate Donald Trump in Epstein-related wrongdoing. He also testified that he had never spoken to Trump about a rumored Epstein "client's list".

On that note, to understand perfectly, was Biden's DOJ completely banned from viewing the Epstein files? Or they could have accessed them, but without being able to release them?

no release. they were stalled by Trump lawsuits and bullshit motions in the cases they had going.

I hope his retirement is spent in prison like Weinstein.

Best we can realistically hope for is Mar-a-Lardo house arrest.

If the articles I've been reading about his health are true, we are going to discover a new reason why the old and Infirm should never be elected.
DJT is insanely fucking corrupt already, but just imagine if he was told that he probably had less than a year to live.
So regardless of the fuckery he gets up too, he has zero worries about the consequences after the litigation process, because he will be dead way before that works it's way through the courts.

How about some sauce ?

How did SCOTUS “seal” the files during the Biden administration?

They were eventually released by an act of Congress. Did that unseal / override some SCOTUS ruling?

If the Biden DOJ’s hands were tied and they needed Congress to act.. Biden could have used the bully pulpit to push Congress to act ??

Trump ended all investigations and dropped all charges the day he took office. HE made them free to be released.

This is mostly bullshit. SCOTUS took no actions to seal these files.

Some documents were sealed by lower federal courts.

The president can request evidence be unsealed, but it's still up to the courts.

None of these rules were put in place by Trump's administration. These have been the rules for decades.

refusing to hear a case is a ruling- they chose to let the lower courts ruling stand.

Thanks ..it does help..but it doesn’t clear up everything for me.

I understand that the Maxwell & Epstein cases have overlap..but certainly there are things that Epstein (and his co-conspirators) did that didn’t involve Maxwell. Couldn’t Biden have pushed for his DOJ to release those files (or ask Congress to pass a bill to authorize it) after Epstein died?

Also, the post says they were “sealed by Trump’s SCOTUS” which is not true There was no action from SCOTUS (other than denying an appeal)

No. Everything they had was sealed under those cases.

Both Epstein and Maxwell cases?
Sealed by SCOTUS?
The Epstein files were still sealed even after he died?
And then unsealed by Congress ( the law overruled SCOTUS and unsealed the files? )

Now I know you are just a dishonest troll. We already told you Trump dismissed all investigations and charges.
