You'll think I'm joking, but you could probably sell those for $25 each or more in a Facebook oddities group. 1/

If you end up with digestive issues, Metamucil is really helpful.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

man this brings back memories of last year, August 7th was a ..."fun time" for me (my gallbladder exploded was in surgery for 4 1/2 hours)

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ouch!

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh my. That looks like they hurt like hell. Better in that jar, than in your gallbladder. I'm glad you're feeling well enough to join us.

Well Gall-Lee! Just be glad those aren’t kidney stones that size

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

What does it smell like? Did it smell like ambergris?

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yes, like this ?

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I can imagine! Ugh! At least you’re gallstones free now ?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I didn't have any. It just stopped working. The Dr wouldn't let me keep it ?. It was in great condition other than not working, lol

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just be glad they weren't kidney stones.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

My mom had one. Man she was in a SHIT ton of pain!

Do I want to know where those come out of a body and how?

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They came out when my gallbladder was removed

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

At least you’re asleep for that. Right? I was thinking it came through some hole in your body. Can you tell I’ve never had them?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They don’t come out on their own. Apparently only a problem if they block something. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gallstone

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You can slowly dissolve them over time (a couple years) with prescribed supplements

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Speaking from experience, they're also a problem if they're big and sharp enough to slice open your gall bladder causing peritonitis -deadly

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Used to be that there was no anesthesia for things like this. Just booze and maybe a strong guy that could try knocking you out.

3 years ago | Likes 93 Dislikes 0

Anesthesia is truly amazing! Not enough credit goes to Anesthesiologists. Surgeons get all the glory.

Truly the difference between not knowing if anything was applied at all and being unsure if they're even operating yet.

Iv always wondered how this works for type-1 diabetics, being one. I couldn’t imagine being out for hours not watching my blood sugar levels

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Recently diagnosed Type 2, went under for a Gastroscopy. They needed to know before hand, let me know someone would be monitoring it closely

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Someone would be monitoring that for you while you were out, it'd be fine

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Doctors for example

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

anesthesia massively upped the survival rates of surgery. its fucking nuts, despite the miniscule chance you just never wake up again....

3 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 0

You'd never know the difference

3 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

That's actually one of my biggest fears

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

thats why as a medical professional i emphasize that all surgery carries inherent risk, but resolving body dysphoria n shit is 100% worth it

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Check out this mamma-jamma that was pulled out of me a few months ago ?

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

WTF! Its the size of a frigging skipping stone!

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thats like the size of the actual gallbladder. Jesus.

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Well, I actually went in to have my gallbladder removed, and when I came around, the surgeon came to see me. She said that it was the 1/2

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/2 largest she had seen first-hand, and that they had to enlarge the incision in my navel to get it out! Not recommended, 0 stars ?
