yeah but the grocery store corporations are making record profits by price gouging so it must be the democrats fault (note: Republicans have blocked every attempt to do anything about it)
what really strikes me as odd is that a lot of Americans, for some unfathomable reason, seem to think they've gotten their shit together on the global stage.
Their country is on the edge of another civil war, their justice system seems incapable of function and they've been handing out guns, bullets and bombs to their mates regardless of who they are and what they're fighting.
And all I'm hearing now is 'Vote Vote Vote'... as if voting ever stopped a fascists.
That said, I was part of a professional choir when Trump was elected, we had a patriotic themed concert the following week after the election, I had never dreaded a concert more. It was impossible to practice or care. But, the show must go on.
If you feel this way, and I cant stress this enough: IT WASN'T MEANT TO BE A GOOD TIME FOR YOU.
They're building their Utopia. White, nationalist straight, faux-Christian, objectivist, utopia.
It's Noah's Ark and we aint aren't supposed to be on the boat. The train has left the station and, news flash, we're in the tail section with Chris Evans and John Hurt.
Yet all the Republicans (or more than likely Russian Plants and Bots) on Twitter claim it's Biden's fault we're in a recession, the cost of living is so high and the LIberal Left is stealing their freedom!
56. Best part: working from home. Worst part: Every single other thing. It was the worst time ever. And it will be worse the 2nd time around and if that happens it will never get better.
The gaslighting, the just incompetence mixed with active malice, treating people like shit especially if they didn't vote for him, mishandling COVID so spectacularly because he thought it'd get out of control in the Dem majority cities. Hell, do people even remember one of his first acts was the Muslim ban but only from certain countries that didn't give him money essentially?
It really was awful. It felt like nobody was in charge (though we know that was on purpose), and it just worsened divisions between the "woke" and the stupid and/or corrupt.
Lafayette Park Police Riot. That was a completely peaceful crowd legally and lawfully protesting in a public park. Cops attacked them as well as bystanders including journalists (as you see above), EMTs, nurses and even tear gassed a priest on church grounds to use the church for Trump's photo op with a borrowed Bible.
I had someone ask me yesterday what Tangerine Palpatine did to me personally. I didn't have a chance to reply because their account got deleted. This is post is only a start. A full account would read like a Bizzaro Brandon list of achievements.
My favorite response to this is, "he purposefully ignored, and admitted to ignoring COVID, because it was inconvenient to his re-election strategy, and it almost killed my mother, my wife, and 3 of my children."

But gas prices were so much lower, so was it really that bad? Hopefully obvious /s

I remember the day I heard trump won. Before that, the last time I cried was when I was 7.
awildsforzemon
You should cry more often, it’s good for you.

The daily stress of hearing the absurd and crazy shit he’d say or do and the thought of possibly living that AGAIN is fucking unbearable.

You think that was bad? Just wait....
Unless, you guys unite and divert the flow of history. Democracy or dictatorship America, your choice...

No no no, it’s only gonna be a dictatorship on day 1. Surely republicans wouldn’t lie to us and not go back to democracy!

I used to wake up every morning with existential dread, wondering what new drug- or hate- fueled horror he came up with in the night.

On the other hand, you could say the N-word in public, so I guess it's a wash.

It took me way longer than I'd like to admit to figure out why this seemed familiar.

It moved me, and I had to make a post. You are 1000% right.

I'm embarrassed by how long it took me to remember that the "dead bodies stacked up in streets" was from COVID and not from violent riots.
Astral134
Freezer trucks full of bodies because morgues filled up…
SomeDetroitGuy
Hundreds of thousands dead that didn't need to die because one dumbfuck thought masks looked dumb.
smashpro1
And because he thought that the people hit hardest would be Democrats.

Massachusetts had to send the Patriots plane to get PPE and guarded it with state police to ensure Feds wouldn’t confiscate it.

Me. I'm the source. It was my quote and my witnessed experiences. It was what I saw with my own eyes living my life.

Probably because they didn't think anyone that apparently had the memory issues you seem to possess would be on here

Right, they didn't even go for the not a source in „cite“ pun that would've at least been slightly amusing.

We were all there, that's the source.

I don't need a source. I lived it. I don't refute history as so many in today's world do.
