Or, hear me out, hire the Lincoln Project to do your ads and give them the budget to buy airtime and space on other media.

Meanwhile, the same message is delivered twice; once from American corporate sponsors, and once from AIPAC:

"Dem Leadership. You are to do none of those things, then express restrained confusion and sadness, but an unwavering faith in the democratic process, when you do not win. Follow our instructions, and you will receive 160% of your normal campaign finance contributions, of which we will only report the usual amount; the remainder is yours to do with as you will."

Democrats are just Republicans side hustling & nothing short of a total change in their pathetic policies will convince me otherwise. They're just as culpable as Republicans for all the evil in this country right now by virtue of having done less than nothing to stop it. Who cares if they win now when in 5 years or less we'll be doing this stupid dance all over again.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And yet all I’ve seen lately is ads looking for campaign donations.

1 month ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

Welcome to Citizens' United. That ain't gonna change until we repeal it

1 month ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

No one who will be allowed to take power will ever repeal it

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

It's The Economy, Stupid. Dems, dont take the bait to focus on anything else, that can be done after the election.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The good news is you don't need to wait for 'leadership' to run these ads, anyone can start a PAC and run these kinds of ads

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You just need a small loan of a million dollars to get started

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There is no minimum for a PAC. Getting a billboard ad will run you $1k-$10k/mo. TV ad spots can vary wildly depending on channel and time slot but can be sub $1k all the way to obscenely pricey. Definitely doable even with a small amount of donations

Now a 4th one about sending your kids to war in iran when dumbfuck finally gets cornered into committing ground assault.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Old-school dems are so fucking bad at politics. New-school dems (who everyone likes to call "democratic socialists" even though their policies are not actually socialism) are much much better at politics.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also, publicly rebuke AIPAC.

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Also: broken jobs promises to coal workers, TV manufacture techs, etc. Also: RE Farmers: the death of USAID means no crop buy guarentee.

The cost of an unnecessary war, the truth that Americans pay for those tariffs, the physical and symbolic destruction of the White House, the huge loss of importance of the US on the world's stage... The list goes on

1 month ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

And his base does not GIVE A FUCK and would illegally elect him again

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They essentially have a fuck it they’ve got it worse than me thanks to this attitude

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The ever increasing cost of gas and gas fired inflation, the exploding debt and deficit. And god forbid the Dems attack Trump's tax cuts as another burden on that debt.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I already know Trump is bad, I'm not confused on the topic, they've had the same message for a decade now. I'm much more interested in what the democrats are going to do for me and others.

Honestly, you'd think the failures of 2016, 2024, and the close run 2020 election would drive home TRUMP BAD is not enough.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Go to your county-level party meetings. There you can help influence policy. If the only people attending those meetings are moderates, then the party will put out a message appealing to moderates.

1 month ago | Likes 110 Dislikes 1

If there’s one silver lining, there’s been a huge emphasis in what can be done at the local level. Look at all the impact Mamdani has done as a mayor! Sure, it’s the biggest city in America, but there’s still a lot that can be done at that level

1 month ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

And to paraphrase the old saying, if we can do it there, we can do it anywhere.

We need more of this kind of mayor. We need people like this to stand up and enter politics. We need to get those people through their primaries. And we need to vote them into office.

Mamdani is taxing the wealthy and cracking down on ICE. And succeeding. The local level is NOT powerless.

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Where I’m at, local effort caused ICE to sell a huge warehouse they were going to outfit as a detention center

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

We HAVE power. We ARE using it. A lot of people are trying to downplay that, and, of course, news media is deliberately not covering it.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Today's DNC won't play hardball. No guts.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They won't do it. Still playing by the rule book the Orange Returd threw out years ago.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dems: Best I can do is attack these charismatic young people who are extremely popular in the polls and winning elections in landslides because they're stupid communists who don't understand how life works. Take it or leave it.

1 month ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Also play that clip of him saying he doesn't give a shit about affordability, gas prices, or housing prices on repeat, constantly

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

4. Stitch together clips of Trump saying: "I don't care about the economy," "Affordability is a Democrat hoax," "The only thing that matters right now is my safety and having an impenetrable ballroom," "Housing is affordable, you just don't understand it," and "We obliterated Iran's military" (x 20).

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Nope they are going to run ads fighting mamdani wing of the party and stop trying to beat maga. Dem leadership is more concerned about that big donor money than winning

1 month ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Also needed are billboards in towns where GOP federal elections are taking place, that their representative support rape, crime and pedophiles. Yeah it's a subset, but with detail

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Farmers know Trump is a disaster. His policies were the worst for farmers since the Depression. They still voted for him by 40 points.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Add one for the number of stock trades he has made since taking office.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

For farmers I would run a montage of heaps of cows burning stitched with that clip of trump "dancing" with that smug smile. And then just text "he did it"

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Show him boldly making promises he hasn't kept. End the Russia/Ukraine War, lower fuel prices, lower energy prices, lower food prices, etc.

1 month ago | Likes 69 Dislikes 2

I'd like them to run ads with white people sobbing about the current price of eggs. I don't think it will be effective but it would make me feel good

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

are egg prices still that bad? where i live the price has gone down but im willing to chalk that up to living nearish a commercial egg farm

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's so bad. So very bad. He has said a deal with Iran was just days away, multiple times over many months. He has said Iran's military was obliterated, over and over, while Iran still is clearly able to attack on land and sea. He has warned that Iran better behave, or he'll eliminate their entire nation, and they don't... and they're still here.

He's an absolute lying freak who has not one foot in reality.

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Iran peace is this term's healthcare plan, in the sense that it's always imminent but never happens.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No new wars. That one has pissed off a lot of the non-MAGA cult conservatives that have been voting Republican.

1 month ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

How exactly do you expect the Dems to "end the Russia/Ukraine war"?

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

They had no issues killing Khomeini or busting in to kidnap Maduro. Go grab Putin and I bet the war ends pretty quickly.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Step one is to remove the compromised russian assets in the white house.

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Did the dems promise to end the war? This is about unkept promises.

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

He said it would take a day. We’re waiting, Mr. Stable Genius

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Stop vying for Democrats. They are still right of center. Democratic socialist is the only ticket that matters and is centric to what the rest of the developed nations have. If you have no other choice, ok, but otherwise, go all in on Madami types.

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Is there a Democratic Socialist ticket? We used to have communists on the ballot in Canada but they’ve seem to have disappeared years ago.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

* Mamdani

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

1) Will not change minds of Trump voters. And there is not that many of them in Urban areas. Also not a priority issue for Main Rd USA

2) It's not Trump tariffs that did them in. Wars, ICE, and oddly no foreign aid, since a lot of stuff was paid for by USAID, and drumroll DODGE

3) Most republicans won't care as well...

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

drumroll *DOGE ??

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep that one

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They won't, because leadership is afraid of the party going left of center

1 month ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

That is inevitable anyway. They're just delaying i.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The leadership is afraid of the party going left of far right.

In a coherent political spectrum, Bernie Sanders is a centrist. Unfortunately, the Overton window in the US has shifted so far right that "what if we tax businesses and use that money to deliver government services in the communities those businesses are in?" is considered a radical left proposal.

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Aye.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's so easy, only the DNC could fuck it up

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

They're really good at that

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They also win by losing, so they aren't interested in upturning the ship they are on in order to throw their "opponents" overboard.

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 5

"Waily waily waily, Democrats aren't perfect so you shouldn't vote, thus guaranteeing the Republicans will win"

~~ What you sound like right now.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Also:
"Grrmmmffpph! Someone has a viewpoint a bit different than mine! Let me talk down and 'other' them so I feel superior! While I'm at, I'll make assumptions about them that are unfounded and also, untrue!"

That's what you sound like, a stupid little bitch.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

I'm just letting you know why they aren't listening, or interested in the change that we have made clear to them is wanted. If you want to keep talking to the unplugged intercom at the class warfare gate, then go right ahead.

In the meantime, VOTE for actual left and hope enough people listen.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Trashing Trump is not enough. I need to hear how you’re going to fix it. I need to know how we move forward. Not how we go back 10 years. There is no going back. There is no return to normal. It was never normal, and it was always fucked. How to we improve conditions for working families, and common people?

1 month ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 4

We need candidates that will tell us what they plan to do not just for the next four years, but the foundations they want to lay for the next twelve. To build up the people and the world as a whole. To win back the trust we deservedly lost.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This. 100% this.

1 month ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

THIS ! Dems have to show agressivitiy, retribution, whatever but people are craving for revenge over the billionaires, corrupt Reps and the MAGA cult.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

So i blame people like you for his 2016 and 2024 wins

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Lemme guess... If they don't tell you exactly how & in a way so that you understand it, you'll stay at home.

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 7

Maybe not this guy. But yes, a lot of people will stay home if the entire visible Democrat campaignis based only on trashing Republicans. I want to see actionable plans for repairing the damage done & preventing it from happening again. And frankly, I want to see consequences and punishments for the Republican criminal cartel. I will vote against any Republican on the ballot, but for fucks sake, give me some Democrats I can enthusiastically vote FOR. Give me a gang of AOCs and Mamdanis

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That’s wild guess. Wrong. Stupid. Fucking insulting.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Bingo. Everyone knows the world is shit, the majority agree that it's the GOP's fault, but a disturbingly large ratio of people also feel that it's a both sides situation. Just pointing out how much the GOP fucking sucks isn't good enough.

Dems have to get on board with Progressives to show a positive alternative an actual "here's how we're going to fix things and improve your situation" roadmap. Not grasp at scant Centrist votes or undermine Progressives at every turn for the status quo.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

They sat in their seats since 2016 by the simple virtue of not being Republican. We’re done. They hear it. They’re terrified, and it’s too late for them. These primaries are exciting.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ideally we'd get a Progressive sweep across the board, or at least enough that they can genuinely throw some weight around and get Dems to go along with them. Republicans need to be completely purged out of government from top to bottom, but there's a boat load of Dems who need to go as well. I'm less hopeful of the latter though, since a lot of even mediocre Dems can be really dug in.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In the election it will be blue no matter who. These primaries are where the work is to be done. This is when we fry incumbents, and install progressive blue. None of us will vote red, but I have faith we will make good primary choices.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

TO OUR VOTERS: Signed DEMS: "No, that's too inflammatory to our corporate donors, we will have to take the high road, as per tradition..."

"You lot sound like socialists and we have no time for them as they're too radical to the status quo!"

And just like that, the Dems lose yet another election due to stagnant tradition and a non-fired up base...

1 month ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 6

Google "Who is Joe Biden"

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 9

They might actually win just because Trump's fuckery is still fresh and recent. The problem is whether they actually DO anything, or if we end up right back in the same place in the next cycle.

1 month ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

That's simply following conventional wisdom, the reality is that trump won twice, as this is no conventional political landscape, so there are NO guarantees that trump's congress/senate will lose come november, so we must vote in unison.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

both parties need to be torn down and replaced

It's both sides are terrible for different reasons

1 month ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

FUCK YEAH, PREACH, MY FREIND!

The main reason why we're stuck permanently in a culture war is due to two diametrically opposed political factions; one was spawned from literal confederates, the second, represents those that allowed for confederates to serve as lawmakers post civil war. so cooperation between the two is impossible, as the system is fucked by design because of it! =>

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

<= Secondly, we need to ban the idea of ideology governing this or any nation, as ideology is subjective, and its best served as a private matter, because ideology is just yet another weapon used to divide this nation.

Unfortunately, we'll just repeat the same mistakes; as two opposing political factions will NOT work as planned as each opposing faction will try to one-up/take over the political landscape from the other, and force the other to radicalise, just as our current party-based system has already produced... =>

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

<= We will simply repeat the same mistakes, no, we need no politicians, we need to turn politicians into federal employees and allow for agencies to represent the people instead, because politicians won't as they're too busy representing themselves... Further, it is the people themselves that should be representing us, in the way of voting along with the "politicians" on the laws/policies that govern this nation. =>

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

<= Also of note, if they were not republicans they will instead simply form another conservative-based party, and multiple-parties is not an option because instead of just one nazi/fascist party, there will be multiple nazi/fascist parties.

Democrats have never been a sane party, right or left.
Republicans used to be sane, but then they decided to go "hey you know what would be funny? if we were more right wing than the Democrats. We'll call it the Southern Strategy"
