I once seen Karen in Prague. She said "I want to speak to a manager" because they ordered beer and the waiter didn't asked them what beer. The dude looked into the restaurant where the manager (main waiter was talking to someone) and said "today he's not working"

In my late teens I was the solo manager at a local second run theatre. Besides midnight movie runs for my friends and smoking in the theatre, pulling the 'I AM THE LAW' card on shitty customers was the best part of the job.

This happened to me when I first took over management. I was acting secretary, a tenant called telling me, "Go get me a coffee." Told him desk service is for admitting guests. "We'll see about that." Next day he demands to speak with the complex administrator. Walks in, sees me sitting behind the desk with "Leading Admin" Turned around, walked out without a word. Dude moved out one month later. Good riddance.

Ah my favourite Karen moment was first asking to speak to the manager, so I walked out and came back to introduce myself again as the manager. She said she wanted to speak to the owner then. Walked out and back in “I’m the owner of this fine establishment” so she left.

When I worked for a call center down the row from me a woman called in wanting a credit, supervisor took over the call. She was explaining the charge to the woman when the woman goes "I know you must hate your job, but maybe if you went back to school and got a better education you could get a better job." response was "I have a college education and I happen to love my job. I was giving you that credit but I can just as easily take it off."

I had a similar call myself, guy didn't say the same thing, but got pissed off when I was explaining how to avoid being charged. I said "I was just explaining how to avoid the charges, I was giving you the credit but I can just as easily take it off." he shut up quick. And since he had called in the past 6 months in a row to get the same thing credited off, I noted on his account that it was blocked and he was informed how to avoid it and to not credit him again...
