"nom nom voom" = take out! My son has speech apraxia and for years he couldn't say take away, but he could say nom nom voom (vroom) because food was "nom nom" and voom was for car! Yep, we still use it!! Lol
My nephew called them sustenders (suspenders) and they for ever shall be sustenders. If he gets married I’m wearing sustenders with my suit to the wedding and working it into a speech somehow.
My father tells the story that we were traveling out to our farm on the road leading to it when we come across hay bails blocking the road. They had fallen off the wagon. "Those cocksuckers!" My dad curses at them as he has to turn around and drive around the long way to the farm. A while later as we are driving through the countryside I happen to spot more hay bales in the field. "Look dad! More cocksuckers!"
I unfortunately have my ex-boyfriend's older sister's wrong word (from her toddler-hood) in my brain from high school! Shoes turned into ooshes. This was a family story that was shared, and stays happy and adorable in my brain.
I made a mistake when I was 14 in the car when some guy was not paying attention and went into the crosswalk while it was red to them. I said, "Damn pestrians" so the ones not looking are all that in my family
Ramen - but pronounced RAY-men - my little brother - it was his favorite food. Chickie Ray-men. It stuck. I'll say it by accident in common discourse and get weird looks and then have to correct it
Not really a mispronunciation, but the youngest refers to bras as boob necklaces. He also picked up the Bluey mispronunciation of edamame so we will use all kinds of variations on that theme.
not my kids but my uncle has been called "Bampy" for years now because his granddaughter couldn't quite pronounce "Grampy" when she was first learning to speak.
Wasn't my kid, was my mom, actually. Her mom used to make 'potted meat'... basically a hunk of tough beef pressure cooked down until it was fall-apart, served on a bun with ketchup and pickles. It kind of falls into the sloppy joe category, though it's got a much less processed taste. Anyways... she was young when she first got served it... and 'potted meat'... became 'potty meat'. Which is what it has been called ever since in the family.

Some how as children we called the remote for the TV the "greevee" and it's still said when looking for any remote in any of our homes.
