Lots of people “complaining” about the number of grey hairs at the rally - calling us old bored hippies. But, none of us were there for ourselves. We see what is being taken away from many Americans and how it’ll negatively affect the future of our kids and grandkids. We were there for their future. Aside from social security reductions, there’s not much more a dictator can do to negatively affect our future.
The goal was never to change Trump's mind. At this point that is clearly not an option. The protests have been very effective to get people organized, informed, share a common goal, come together as a community, and show others in that community that their neighbors are there, both mentally and physically, for them.
