#3 i gotta say that the leak situation is far more interesting that the game itself
SisyphusRollin
Damn dude, you got an early release of the game as well?
GuggelPlayer
Yea its called GTA5. But in all seriousness the trailer did look just what I thought it would, it was like the most basic pizza you could have: looks good, tastes good, fills you up and makes you feel good, but its just pizza. The game will sell billions, we all know that, the game will be good, no questions there, but for myself it looked just your very standard GTA experience and I am not just fan of that kind of games. Hence the leak situation is more interesting than the game itself

#40 when you give the intruder the choice of getting shot in the groin or the knees and then pull a hat trick because you still have the excavator for the rest of the week.
DarthWaiterSE
My first round is always chambered as a 12 gauge bean bag.
After that, it's two shots for duck season and then two shots for buck season.
(It should be noted that I live in Houston next to small bayou, so there's a non-zero chance of encountering small gators and large snakes.)
4chanrefugee
I like to uncrimp shells, dump out the shot. Pack then with whatever bits and bobs I have laying about and recrimp them. Cut up washers, lighter flints, Aquarium gravel, scraps of allthread, chopped cutlery... I have a few pykrete rounds in the freezer.

Itās presumably breaking the record for (humanoid) robots, which is less important because itās *easier* to build a faster drone that rolls or flies, or a *sessile* robot that does useful work. The primary purpose of humanoid robots is to intimidate human workers.

#8 ya heard about that on the radio. Some of the supporters were openly saying āit could have been any one of us up thereā their kids are gonna be looking over their shoulders
wadatahmydamie
Saw some conspiracy theory wankers try and claim it was the husband
Like yeah heās shady, but she definitely killed her kids. Thatās not even a point of dispute in the trial
Godawful8888
He drove her to it. Having experienced PPD/PPA I don't blame her one bit. She tried to get help. Everyone failed her & those kids. If he gave a single shit about his wife & kids he wouldn't have left them alone. Multiple times
kanybal
Knowing only as much as the Wiki page would tell me, I will not judge nor blame one way or another, but you're absolutely right about the system failing her. She sought out help time and again and never got anything substantial help
wadatahmydamie
Iāll blame her more than a bit for murdering three children by hand.
I appreciate the rebuttal to points nobody on this post has raised though. If anyone makes arguments contrary to the ones you addressed, theyāll be devastated.
AShartInTheWind
It's not about the murders, it's about her well-documented history of depression that was largely ignored by her family and medical professionals.
Lots of people are facing these same circumstances. Mental illness is treated so taboo in our society that it's getting people killed.
doctorId
As someone who works in the mental health field, I can say with authority that the psychiatric care she was given was incredibly strange. She had over 30 prescriptions written involving 13 different medications, several of which were benzos, all within in 4 months, which is fucking insane. Your brain is not built to handle the roller coaster of chemistry changes her practitioners were putting her through. Shit like that could easily lead to psychosis.
tentacularfleshscape
Also no fuckin money to treat it. Like my therapist always tells me, that'll be $150
bril350
I get that claim but admitting āi could have murdered my children easilyā is wild. Also with how often women fawn over fucking serial killers im less inclined to fully believe the claim that its only about the mental health.
InkyBlinkyPinkyAndClyde
They are saying that because this is a real, actual condition and new mothers get basically no support for it. Even without having it there are times I was so frustrated I would go down into the basement and scream and bang my fists against the walls. If you've never been that sleep-deprived and that alone with such a huge responsibility, you don't know.
AShartInTheWind
Postpartum psychosis is no joke and is a lot more common than people think. It effects millions if women, it's just the majority of the time is doesn't lead to murder. But that doesn't mean that it doesn't have the potential.
bril350
I get it but regardless if my mom publicly stated ON CAMERA that she might have murdered me I wouldnt be considering her mental state id be considering a restraining order. You can also support the need for mental health services without rallying on behalf of a woman on trial for murder.
InkyBlinkyPinkyAndClyde
If my mom said it, I'd totally understand. Someone who hasn't experienced it can't know what it's like. You're judging something you don't understand.

Why would anyone do anything for not the money, as a working class person who's got himself another night at a hotel because I can't afford a cleaning lady once I don't understand, I remember vaguely when I married a millionaire but that was like 10 years ago
PackedCatMeowingPowerDensity
The sooner the elites learn not all of us can be bought and bribed, the less power they have.
SisyphusRollin
The anti capitalist narrative throughout reddit at times runs so deep you'll find people upset at the concept of doing something for a profit at all. A lot of the anti Rockstar stuff is directly related to a huge level of entitlement and ignorance, people are literally upset they're trying to make money off the game. They're upset, like this leaker, that they aren't allowed to control a companies Advertising department. Its literally "I didn't get my trailer when I suspected it to happen"
SisyphusRollin
Thats the gist of it. Basically they took a long time (holy shit they did and it looks to pay off, this game looks fucking insane) and its upset the entitlement people. They said they'd start marketing up again in summer (which they did) but the entitlement people wanted early summer, so they're so very angry. Its just a collection of silly children being upset that they didn't get a literal toy soon enough so they want other people to suffer because they weren't given a toy they wanted.
neithermenoryou
TL;DR: The guy (cyberleek) that claims to have a working copy of GTA 6 already and has been leaking ingame footage of it also has a meme coin. As such people have speculated he is faking to have an early copy to push up the value of his meme coin and the stake he owns in it. As a result he burned his stake, meaning he destroyed the coins he owned, meaning he can no longer profit from that 1 million USD valuation he previously had.
xmaneds

Frobizzle
Sounds like a stupid thing to do.
neithermenoryou
Ehhhh. The valuation isn't often accurate so there's a chance it'd be much less than what's calculated (the number is never conservatively set since that wouldn't look as good), and it also doesn't account for things like fees, taxes, if everyone actually put real money into it when it officially launches, etc. Also potentially wards off some claims profiting off of stolen assets once R* files the lawsuits and takes them to court over it.
viva93
They are absolutely still profiting, they even explained specifically how they are still profiting. They earn money off fees from the coin being traded which is very much so is. They explained it. They burned the stake so they can't rugpull with dev coins but they're absolutely making a ton of money. 30k within minutes of just first posted leaks a lone, literal minutes.
tallyhoho
At least it's upfront and not some pump and dump scam
TheOriginalAmberRose
Who set this value for the coins? Where does the actual money come from? This is what baffles me about bitcoin. What is the real life basis for it's value?
ricpaul
What's the real life value of the dollar if Bessent can just turn on the printingpress to print dollars to buy back IOU's that people payed the government money for? There's a limited amount of bitcoins whch gives it some perceived stability. This used to be true for the dollar but look at history what happened to the Reichsmark when Hiltler cranked up the printingpresses...
neithermenoryou
That specific type of valuation is like a kickstarter pledge amount before the campaign actually finishes, and nobody has paid in yet. So it's basically people interested in it pledged to put in once it fully launches, but nobody has actually put the money down yet. Plus a good chunk of unfound speculation based on hype some other nonsense that isn't hard cash in an account. Imagine the stock market but with monopoly money and IOUs mixed with a game of chicken to see who uses real money first.
slavetoinsurance
that's the neat part: there is none. its value is entirely based upon people suspecting it's going to be worth more than that. it's musical chairs, and eventually somebody will be left with the bill.
xmaneds
read this history story: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulip_mania ... the answer to your question is: "there is *NO* real value." the second answer to your question is: "the value of 'Any Object' is 'the amount of money that people are willing to pay for it'
CALAMOSCOPYJANE
There isn't one. They're a bit like derivatives, without any underlying asset. It's tremendously fucked up.

homemadechef
Selling that much of anything all at once would drastically drive down the value.
