It's pretty impressive. Not just in open spaces either. I saw a vid of a guy practicing while sitting up against a wall, facing it. Learning to drawn and strike in close spaces. One guy (I can't find the vid anymore) had several large teddybears he was using as target dummies to show how you can draw and cut even when surrounded and sitting down(no teddybears were actually harmed).
