That rock takes about 11 seconds from explosion to hit the moon. Moon gravity is 1.62 m/s^2 it would have a negligible impact on final speed

At perigee, the moon is a bit over 225k miles from Earth and that rock took nowhere near an hour. It would have to be traveling a lot faster

True. Point is, for a rock to hit in the timeframe of the video it'd have to be going REALLY fast. In reality it'd prob take a few days.
