Based on Wyoming, I'm not optimistic for you guys

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The number of my fellow union-tradesmen that this applies too is embarrassingly high.

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I agree to this except the Democrats literally passed a bill in the House to ban most modern rifles and handguns.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just registered so I can vote!

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

As a non American, what does the midterm vote do?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We vote for 1/3 of congress representatives, some state governors too, afaik. Only the president is once every 4 years

At this point let’s compromise. Let’s just take the ammo instead. Technically people aren’t coming to take the guns.

If your county has a race for DA this year, know that it's probably the most important race in your locale. Get to the polls.

Voting in the States seems like a chore. Voting in free countries is a breeze.

I just rewatched family guy from mid 2000s, and oh boy oh boy, all the republican jokes are still valid to this day.

4 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

Because they are still the same party, they just dropped their illusion of being a legitimate right wing party.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Let's make a 3rd party and kick both parties out

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

They have said so out loud that they are coming for SS and Medicare

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They are the sheep they keep accusing others of being. Blinded by their fear and hate. I’d pity them if they weren’t so fucking dangerous

4 years ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 1

Please everyone vote out all Rs everywhere - local, state, all elections - especially in the midterms. https://www.nass.org/can-I-vote

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah we are way past the pity point. Outright disdain is where we need to be collectively.

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

I'm firmly in morally outraged and disgusted.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Don't TRUST early voting, VOTE IN PERSON. Repubs are gonna cheat any way possible.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not only is that wrong but it's divisive and it radicalizes people. We need to put a stop to that kindof talk

4 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

This was 5 years ago, but still holds true

4 years ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 2

I’ve sincerely wondered if covid deaths/ long covid will heavily influence the political landscape in the coming years. I.e. boomers are

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Less able to get out and vote, therefore they lose support. We all know how we they feel about mail in voting!

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Just they* mail in voting is hyper convenient

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Even more true given recent proposals.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It is going to keep on being true while there are people who value money or their own comfort more than ethics or like values and morals.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You people thinking that Democrats are any better than Republicans is hilarious.

Gen Z, I cannot promise myself a better future but want to work with you to have what my parents voted I couldn't.

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Thousand thousands.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Without labeled axis, this look like it's a graph of... any number of things, including people dying off.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

(Yes, I understand from context what it's showing, but still.)

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Here's the original.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Mid 90s to like, 2012 is Gen Z.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The years change by every source you can find. There really isn't a real "gap" between millenials and Z except the flood of media.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I heard the turning point was whether or not someone remembers 9/11 as that created a paradigm shift that affected childhoods.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think this whole labeling of generations is made up bullshit designed to divide people anyway.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I never understood the silent generation even after reading/watching up about it. IDK I feel like the name is miss placed

4 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Older American voter turnout is staggeringly higher than younger American.

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

not going to lie, it took me a while in my 20s to care and living abroad during an election cycle didn't help the apathy

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They have nothing to fucking do on voting days. We're working multiple jobs full time. OH right and the media bashing on voting.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I believe like ~80% of millennials would vote for a socialist candidate, according to at least one survey. anyone have a source on that?

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

There's a reason Bernie is popular.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Other than us Euros proved everything he wants to work and decent payed youngsters need roommates while being told to cut back on avocados?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

OTOH, our national discourse is so messed up that definition of Socialist is so broad as to be basically meaningless.

Remember folks, early voting's in October!

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

If you don't vote, you have no right to complain. There are few exceptions to this rule, in my opinion

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

So? He's all talk is my point, and I admit not spending as much time worshipping the man as some, so yeah I haven't watched him in years.⇒

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

⇐ so I'm admittedly behind, on what the prick is doing, I prefer Mr Noah/Oliver/Stewart, as they're less full of themselves!
