I've never understood how someone can hate running.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Once upon a time, I started my mornings off with stuff so bad, that a morning run was a relief.

Dont forget that happy juice your brain pumps into your bloodstream after all the moving around.

I feel sad for those who view exercise as something that ruins their day. Au contraire, it makes you better.

Yes let us make fun of healthy lifestyle choices

Oh don't be so soft, running is my main cardio and there's a funny sense of comraderie seeing other people whinge about it too.

I work out three times a day so it's all bad.

'Mark Twain once said that if the first thing you do each morning is to eat a live frog, you can go through the day with the satisfaction(1)

of knowing that that is probably the worst thing that is going to happen to you all day long' (2)

You're wrong but that's okay

Booooo

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Me too but I hurt my knees. Back to walking for awhile.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's why I stick to ellipticals, good to get that heart rate up and i save my joints

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep. I need to buy one. I prefer to exercise outside but for running, that would be better.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I actually value this feeling though. A hard workout in the morning chills me right out all day because the hardest part of my day is done.

5 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 1

Ikr? I don’t jog, but I love doing 30minutes of walking in the early morning. And sometimes I’m the afternoon after work, depending on /1

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

my shifts. (wished I could establish an actual routine based on the time of the day). Thing is, it’s extremely relaxing.

What do you do for living? I mean I'm a field tech and going out to a customer when its raining/snowing/freezing, trying to fix a quality/->

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Design flaw without a new part while the frustrated owner is shouting at me because the sales guy who he contacted instead of service ->

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Promised that it will be a small&quick fix with minimal effect to his production... Yeah No the running wont cut it.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Have you tried heroin?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You think that would help?

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

How do you get into that routine, is it natural for you? I've tried so many times and just can't seem to get up.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

As someone who has to wake up at 5am for work: knock yourself tf out with melatonin at 7:30pm

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You have to get enough sleep. You’ll never get into it until you get enough sleep before you go at it

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm starting to, but I've got a baby to feed in the mornings. I go out after. I also don't try to go for a "hard" workout; just any. Typ >

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

a 1 mile jog/walk (I'm out of shape), followed by some weights; whatever feels good. As long as I sweat some and feel my pulse, I'm good.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I’m the same way, so I don’t worry about the routine. I do it 0-7 times a week. But better to work out even once a week than not at all.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Might just not be your thing. How about doing some planning and stretching before you go to sleep?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

One thing that helped me though was picking a show that i can only watch while im on the treadmill. So part of the motivation to get up and

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

do it comes in part from wanting to see what happens next in the show. And make it as easy as you can for yourself. I put my shoes and gym

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

shorts next to my bed before I go to sleep so when I wake up I can just roll over, lace up, and start my workout.
