Tis the very witching time of night, When churchyards yawn and hell itself breathes
out Contagion to this world. Now could I drink hot blood

#19 I want to be me now. The present me. I wish I could stop only being the me that came before and can’t let go.

#9 and #18 are heartbreaking. Wherever these were taken- Palestine, Iran, Lebanon... I am sorry. I am so, so sorry. My country is a shithole right now.

#32….

#16 we've come full circle on GTA screenshots I see... from random cryptic content to actual posts.
VFORANONYMOUS
Yep, working at jobs we hate, to buy $#!+ we don't need, to impress people we don't like.

#3 is this picture called CYCLOPS?

#21 learning things about Kafka always makes me appreciate all the ways in which I function well and can experience life in a good way. Because even if I think have a though hand... man Kafka was just in there, deep suffering and confusing pain.

#23 things fall apart. The center cannot hold. Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world. The best lack all conviction while the worst are full of passionate intensity.

Ohhh the title. Great album

#8 this is truly a sad sight to see. 😢

#29 I started going to concerts again. I'd forgotten how much I had loved live music and crowds and the thrill and moshpits.
tinyfootprints
I stopped going in the 1980s when Ticketron added parking charges to concert tickets. I usually went with friends, riding in a 10-seat van. That kinda sucked, but on the flip side, I had already seen most of the really good rock bands by that time. I still go to reasonably prices shows. Just a few weeks ago, I saw The Exploited in a small venue for a reasonable price.

A friend told his wife when they married, "I go to concerts, and I collections music. Being married isn't going to change that."
They've been married a few decades. She sometimes comes with us.

If I could give my younger self any piece of advice it would be to go see more live music.
albaboss
lol I feel the exact opposite. I saw a TON of live music when I was younger. I don’t remember half of it and my hearing is absolutely terrible. I’m not even 35 yet and my hearing is almost gone
mothmam
Go hear live music, but please wear earplugs. I’ve had tinnitus for years from a youth spent in front of amps & speakers
LebistusReticulatis
#19 I first had to discover who I was because I had to cope at a young age. I know I”m not the only one
CatShadowleaf
I still don't know. I'm an amalgam of everything the people around me want to be around.
LebistusReticulatis
Most of us are. Within that is a solid core who you are and who you want to be. These are the interesting parts that are you
fallibledegenerate
Same.
Omicron416
I'm 56 and still trying to figure out who I am.
At a young age, I quickly learned to not be me, and am trying to unlearn.
To be clear: I sympathize and am not trying to compete; I just want you to know I understand.
LebistusReticulatis
No competition here, friend. Also 56 and still exploring who I am. Needed a lot of books en some therapy to get where I am now. Unlearning is hard work but necessary to learn who you are. Patterns that worked to keep me safe as a child now hinder me as an adult. Reprogramming is work. I hope your path leads to who you really are
Omicron416
Thanks, and I hope the same for you as well.
