What camera? I have a 10” dob too but have been on the fence about trying planetary AP.

Player One Mars-C. IMX462 sensor. They are relatively inexpensive, and go on sale often($119us) . But I've also had great results just using a mirrorless I already had.

I am starting astrophotography, do you mind sharing one of your un-stacked images so I can see what you start with?

I think I'm having a garbage in garbage out problem with my photos lol

It's a video file. 17 gigs.. 23k frames. 20% stack of a 3 minute capture. 200fps. You're right garbage in garbage out is the biggest problem. Seeing is everything. I don't even bother trying to image unless the seeing is 4/5 or better. Get familiar with your local "clear sky chart". The processing part is easy once you get good clean data.

Can you upload one of the frames? I've done some video capture and just want to compare your raw frame to my raw frame :)

It's a learning journey!
