This is what chatGPT essays feel like
Skill access
Creativity
We are in hell
I was alive back when Wikipedia wasn't citable
Ai disappoints, but not as much as you are a disappointment
Something related to sloth and/or arrogance
Omens
Kombucha
Ugh, actually read the essay before turning it in!
This is why generated essays are crap- no draft= run guided rubbish on the page.
Maybe a lil' harsh
You don't even want to select where you get your answer?
Reach for the wonderful
Some people tell me this can be achieved by tuning prompts... Haven't had the drive to figure it out
Every time I try to use Gemini with lesson planning
The praise is gross
Reality is so messy right now
My autistic partner has been using chatGPT to talk through his struggles to connect with people
Don't insult an autist
Silicon valley divination
Highland sheep
Baba Yaga
Count the fingers
Count the fingers
Every time I see an image these days
Big data, lol
Shit, the lawyers are using it now
You must be able to die to be able to write poetry?
This is the only robot that can make poetry
Angry people struggle to log off
Ugh, even when it tries to do intonation
Pigeon
Artists gotta eat
There's a Futurama episode like this...
Ai is trained on SOMETHING... If not theft, what is it?
Art theft
Conners

The Butlerian Jihad will begin soon

Sometimes I feel like there's a trace of my high school writing in the training data
What? Bias? Noooooo
But ethics are based on moral rights and wrongs? /S
Whaaa (fake shock)
It's spying on us, definitely
Yeah, we're fucked
Ai data centers are killing the planet (faster)
Data centers are eating up our water and power supply
HighSorcerer
#1 Sure. Top-right there, that's Enrique.
Tarmaccian
#12 This was a problem since the early days of humanity.
Humans have never needed AI to lie to each other.
EverNotRelevant
#9 Morons.
WellWellWellLookWhoItIs
#51 The true purpose of those captchas is to train AIs to read them. Just like we’re being used to train object recognition, with things like buses snd crosswalks.
GlenL
Anecdotally, I'd say about 50% of the time I google something the "AI Overview" is just a flat out lie
khora
#4 I thought “slop” is the word of the year.
DdCno1
There's more than one word of the year, since there isn't a central authority for this.
UserNamesArentEasy
#9 could call them Clankers too.
JustSomePersonThere
@op I have developed a bitter hatred for generative AI in the last year and your post is like a soothing balm upon my psyche. Thank you.
toolzgalore2
Remember asking these slop factories to give you the seahorse emoji makes them lose their shit
CheeseB0t

#1 the brown thing on the bottom right is now named, “Frank”. There. I named one thing. Where’s my prize?
JoeT85
Frank is a dog under a blanket, but that's all I've got. I've been working on this picture for years
cambam3000
#2 It's worth mentioning that because many of them are free (or at least are if you own something else, such as windows) it can also allow the non-wealthy to access skill
... May I interest you in my conspiracy theory that these AI tools are free so we'll learn to rely on them, and then in the future they'll be able to charge whatever they want?
DylanHebert
Even Sarah Conner accepted that the terminator was the only man who'd measure up as a father, even John Connor accepted the idea that if a machine could learn the value of human life than maybe we could to. At a certain point, if Data's poetry is good, we have to be able to accept that not all machine derived content will be terrible. AI is a tool in its infancy, being created my humans with poor vision and obsession, sure, but it's going to get better, and we might as well make peace with that.

#4 stupid shut kids say is the "word of the year?" Also that's two words

#8 The irony of this image being made with AI
Bacxaber
@OP
SquirrelWithATophat
ArcherPointingFromTheComments
#33 no, the algorithm is 100% bespoke market research based on your engagement. This creates a consumer profile that social media companies use to generate ad revenue from companies that sell products that you are likely to purchase. It's all money
senyu
Maybe if Google wasn't so shit about finding info on obscure error codes in whatever software I'm troubleshooting then maybe I'd ChatGPT less.

Sloperator for anyone that calls themself a "prompt engineer"
SayRamrod
how about 'boss'? because mine uses it all day and is confidently wrong 95% of the time. i spend a lot of time helping him walk back poorly vetted concepts.
MentionSignificant
I like 'prompt goblin', going to start using that.
ImgurIsOutOfUsernames
Data's poetry being good or bad doesn't mean shit though. Data is a character portrayed by a human reading a script written by a human.

Precisely.

I think it is something that shows how strokes can fuck with what things look like.
OlemGolem
Alright, I admit that I use AI but only by entering my detailed logbook and hoping for new insights and patterns that I didn't recognise. Sometimes it's a teaching tool that's way more patient and thorough than any person I've ever met. I still have to think critically with every answer, I get that. I don't use AI to create content for me. But now I wonder if using AI with my level of moderation is really that bad for me.
CheeseB0t
You're in the wrong neighbourhood if you want a genuine answer from these miscreants.
But no, using your brain while using an LLM is not bad for you.
That's what you're supposed to do. Not implicitly trust every character of the first response and accept it as gospel, like Imgur seems to think is the only way to use an LLM.
AmazingNoodleSmuggler
I agree, there are many good uses for ai, as long as you also use your brain.
