This is someone’s kink… the camera quality, the slow-mo, the stabilization..

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I guess the fish just dissolve alive in their stomach? uuhh.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Dissolve? No. Suffocate burning? Yes.

Are the fish ok?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You might want to sit down. I have some bad news.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Those fish are still alive and essentially drowning in there... What monsters those birds are! Go vegan!

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Give it to us raw and wr-r-riggling!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Now that's fresh

I found a fish in my backyard yesterday for some reason.

Catch, release, catch.

Nature is the way it is. It might be horrifying to us, but its been that way for countless millions of years and will most likely continue long after we are gone.

all that sushi and no soy sauce

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

In many cases I will point out that what's really meant is *healthful*, but here, yes, it is both healthful and healthy.

Looks like an anhinga, when they swim, looks like a snake.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

For those interested in learning more about birds like this, see also: Cormorants. Chinese fisherman even train them to fish like underwater falconers... although it feels a bit inhumane...

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It is an anhinga. People call them snake birds.

Narrator in background: And that morning when they wandered what was on the menu, little did they know that they would have fish. Like every previous day and all future days from that day on.

*wondered

Correcting others is rude, John.

That eagle must feel pretty stupid have to tear the first apart instead of swallowing it whole.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I'd hate to be a Heron, no tartare sauce, not even wasabi.

Ahhh yes, being eaten alive bite by bite while suffocating. Or, being ran through with a beak then slowly cooked in stomach acid. Absolutely horrific deaths. Nature don't give a fuck

I think the fish would be dead in the crop and not survive to the stomach.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah these are basically my worst nightmare on how to die list. So glad I'm not a fish.

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

pelicans also eat other birds and even mammal if they are small enough to swallow. they have been seen eating little dogs. and their stommach acid is much worse than ours

I've seen Cattle Egrets toss mice in the air and swallow them whole. Watched them eat centipedes too. They kill those first first and then toss them up and swallow them. Small snakes too.

God works in mysterious ways. His compassion knows no bounds. His Plan is ineffable.

Lol

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think is pretty fuckable personally.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can you put bounds on something that doesn't exist?

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The USS-Enterprise has bounds on how it operates, so I'd say sure, why not?

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

This kills the fish.

2 years ago | Likes 183 Dislikes 0

but if there was a way they ate fish and it didnt die they would still choose to kill them anyways.

I wonder what would be the last thought of the fish after being flipped up into the air and the final visual impression of its life is this pink bird throat.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's not dead the second it hits the throat. They suffocate down there.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

"well, fuck"

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but not before they get all the way down the gullet. Even then, they're probably alive for awhile.

2 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

They'd asphyxiate quick enough. Not a lot of oxygen in stomach acid.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

burning slowly in stomach acid, which they will try to breathe, because fish in liquid. horrific.

Fucking perfect

Used to do this in the pet store. If a fish was in a death spiral, more humane just to pull it out with a net and *whack!* hasta la vista, baby.

2 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 1

Just to clarify, I worked in the fish department at the pet store. I didn't just walk into a rando pet store like a fish hit man, pull out a net, and go "Big Tony sends his regards", *whack!*.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In a death what now?

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

When a fish is sick and isn't going to make it, it just kind of swim in circles in little bursts at a time (they usually have hours left at that point). Like they literally do spirals around the tank. But I like the other answers here too, also valid.

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Probably means the fish's health is declining rapidly and all attempts turn it around aren't working.
